Did they already appoint a drug czar? Maybe Marrion Barry is available?
Not that I've heard, but Marrion Barry would be a good fit.

but isn't/wasn't he also in trouble for taxes. Never could figure why they ever re-elected him.
No wonder they don't want to give any further tax breaks....they just cheat and make up their own and don't want anyone else to have em...Trouble? Trouble with stinkin' taxes... well he'd feel right at home then. Those people don't believe in paying taxes.

CBO: Obama stimulus harmful over long haul
President Obama's economic recovery package will actually hurt the economy more in the long run than if he were to do nothing, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office said Wednesday.
CBO, the official scorekeepers for legislation, said the House and Senate bills will help in the short term but result in so much government debt that within a few years they would crowd out private investment, actually leading to a lower Gross Domestic Product over the next 10 years than if the government had done nothing.

Daschle says health-care reform “will not be pain free.” Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. That means the elderly will bear the brunt.

True CB,
However, If we could separate the lazy from the helpless, babies and the elderly does that improve our morals or just improve our chances of not going bankrupt.

I have to agree with Budnipper, both. Helplessness doesn't discriminate when it comes to age. I've always been taught from my long ago Boy Scout days, that those that aren't able to take care of themselves, then we have a moral duty to help them. The lazy, I don't give a second thought and I wouldn't spend a dime on them. The lazy are the ones that are a financial drain on any society or group.

My friend, it is good to see other people were raised with morals and feel an obligation to do the right thing. Too bad the rest of the world is gimme, gimme with no sense of shame for what they feel entitled to. It really is a shame, I'm not a socialist but I am being forced into a socialist system involuntarily. JMHO JB45
CB,
There is nothing that compares to seeing your daughter take off after college and show her worth.
The dread of missing her is far less than the pride you have in her showing her strength and abilities - and seeing first hand how beautifully she turned out - how well she is received and how her smarts and character and ambition make her stand out.
So... let the inner peace of knowing... she has to leave the nest to find herself and be all she's meant to become... dominate your thoughts.
Have a good day my friend,
Steady
