Playing the I fund

Ball park estimate: I’m showing the Local Currency at -1.142%, and the dollar has fallen about -0.6%, that should put the USD about -0.542% for a loss of 11 cents to $19.92

Gillgan -- Thanks for your estimates. Although today we will be giving back most, if not all, of the gains made yesterday, the gains made yesterday served to cushion the full blow of the downturn, because I was able to transfer 50% to the safety of the G fund effective yesterday in a declining dollar environment. Of course, now we'll have to wait and see if we again get hit hard by a negative FV. --
MSCI EAFE is down -0.595% for a loss of 12 cents to $19.91

i fund gave us .13 yesterday and now it mightl take back .11. This whipsaw is killing me. I'm trying not to jump on a daily basis but it seems like it is the best thing to do for the rest of the month and maybe even next month. Grrrrrr!

Any thought for next week. This is pretty much the second week, my earnings been flat due to seesawing stocks...

I hear ya. All my indicators are showing that the I should move up.....the question is when. So like you I'm sitting and watching.

Ebbnflow really has the timing thing down pat lately. What really blows me away is that he knows his moves days in advance.

I still only get 'em right (day-to-day) about 62% of the time since I've been tracked. But at least the ebb tracker is a little better freethrow shooter than the ShaQ. Now, if we're talking about weekly records, that's another story altogether. :cheesy:

Tokyo stocks hit by worries over US growth.
Nikkei slips on fears about US economy.
Japanese firms more upbeat but outlook weaker.

Blame it all on the US. What a crutch. Is Euro-land crying somewhere on the web? I haven't found anything.

You're doing so well, how can I criticize, but 50% should be a gimmy! Or is it gimmie? You are very fortunate that the "I" is doing well!

Well actually, the I-fund is not doing all that great the past four months (with one more week to go) since I've been here. Up only +2.70% or +.675% per month. :D

Impressive, please tell me your secret! I was kinda of tough on you when you first started, but you have done so well, I am impressed, keep up the good work.:D A new way of doing this thing, I like it!!!!!!

Like everything else, you can check out the ebb tracker on e-bay in a couple of years. Hold it down ebb tracker, just kidding! :D

are we seeing a rotation from Int'l stocks to US equities? Not lookin' good for I fund today... anyone care to give an opinion of an I fund rebound tomorrow?

Today's movements are looking shakey. It's anybody's guess what tomorrow will bring. We have to see what the smart money in the afternoon will do.
