Until the bears throw in the towel or some unforeseen news event. The Bulls are in control and have NO FEAR of this Market going down. After the election things could change some. The trend remains up, so don't stand on the tracks! Very hard to pick tops. The Market just keeps going, up and up and up. It could go on much longer then most think.

I got back in a few days ago after being out for a month or so. What a mistake getting out at that time was. I feel better that Im back in. Next time maybe I'll wait till im lookin down the barrel before I back off.

Let me highlight the big parts. This can not be stressed enough. Stay cautious and always have stops, but the trend is up until it's not! After spending much time on this MB and others, reading more in the last two year than I have in the ten year before that. The one thing that is like a pounding drum............"the trend is your friend" but always remain cautious. The other thing is STOPS! Man, the pain is ferocious when the market keeps going down and you in it going "todays the day".
You say that, but you keep posting articles that scare me!

S&P 500 futures have pulled back sharply within the last 30 minutes and are now trading below fair value after Caterpillar (CAT) unexpectedly missed Wall Street forecasts and issued downside FY06 EPS guidance.

I sincerely hope nobody held SNDK overnight. Getting about a 20% haircut.
Everything turning red. U.S stocks, Europe giving up, dollar heading up, even bonds are down.
We've seen days like this before. Sometimes it all reverses the same day. Sometimes its a one day blip, the best of buying opportunities. Other times its been the first day of a week or two of downturn. You have one hour and ten minutes or so to decide which.

Nice move back above into green by "I" fund, and "C" doing nicely as well. "S" lags, but I think that the firmness of the other two tell me we won't get the big pullback just yet. No, this looks a lot like just a little profit taking on Friday.

intraday chart on the nasdaq is looking a little like a head and shoulders. will be interesting to see if we sell off at the close.
