Looks like we are up and flying again!

100% is too risky! Will be trying 40%, closer to the ground. At least trying to avoid a direct hit. Ya, think they could supplement the TSP funds with hazardous duty off-sets?

Hey DMA....Where can I get some barf bags....just in case!

At this rate the MACD will be full of zig-zags.

I'm still looking for that 60 point drop coming our way......we might have a stop at or around 1190, but then........:' down we go to 1150-1140's.....only thing we can do is wait and see ....thinking around or onthe 15th......

Then we may all get a chance to have some fun....:^

Also, I'm guessing the G fund will change rates in 4-5 business days after today.....

DMA,

I think I'll check the Spice Hot Zone listings for tonight and see if there is any competition that compares. I know why don't you go short tomorrow at 1300 hours and see what happens - 3 days in a row. cluck, cluck.

Hey great call on the rally that starts on the 6th.

DMA,

Actually I can't complain - made money all 3 days so far- granted no great shakes yet, but this turtle will just keep plugging along, I am however keeping an eye lookout to make sure the earth doesn't open up and digest me.

I would assume you must have gotten some sleep. You are still leaning negatively to the left, but that is fine - at least you are less hostile in your elaboration. That paxil is great stuff - just kidding. Honestly, I do appreciate your sense oh humor.

The "lock box" of TSP money goes to the Al Gore reinvention celebration campaigne.

Now sooner or later Ferdinand will come into your line of sight- he only hopes that when it occurs you are standing close to a flat rock. Hope you see some humor it that. Take care

Only if you are in F or I fund. I believe you are a S fund trend follower type of guy?

Like I told Pryiel on Sunday. C, S, I and F will all be lower by the end of the week.

Then your are down for the week.

How???

DMA,

Actually I was referring to my oceanliner out side private account. In TSP I simply adore the C fund and plan to hold long all the way to sp500 of 1700, or until Betsy comes home. I hope you will be available to provide commentary when we reach those heights - stay true to yourself. That's when I will start listening - until then I ambasically a lost cause. Beyond help of any kind. Certainly you understand.

I am not a scuba diver. Trying to get back to the surface.

:)I respect your opinion no matter how wrong you are. They give me a grand chuckle

Have to ask yourself, who is calling the market - to the minute:^

You keep listening to CNBS and I will continue working hard on my investments by during my OWN research.

Watch Craplow. But do not be Craplow on here.

Stocks they also go down.:^

Let us return to the matters at hand. Things are getting personal again, which will only poison the well for everybody. :s

The market goes up, the market goes down. We will all be right and wrong at different times, and no one has shown enough success to strongly challenge another's opinion as being valid or not.

As each of us has our own agenda and time table to achieve it, we can't help but compare our own apples to everyone else's oranges. The best we can do is discuss wether growing conditions are favorable or not.

I am pretty sure that no one is following anyone else's opinion to the exclusion of their own, so let us breathe, relax.... again, breathe, relax.... that's better, once again... etc., etc. ad infinitum, ad naseum...

Peace,

I couldn't have said it any better. :):):)

I feel that if anyone was so accurate to know exactlywhat is going on in this economy at this point and if they were correct 99% of the time thatthey would not be playing the TSP. They'd be doing what ever their heart and dreams desire :cool:and just let the money roll in.

With that said, I’m currently C-50, S-30, & I-20. I’m not sure :?whether to follow the herd or remain bullish. I’m thinking going G-80 & I-20 by noon today, which is 6:00 a.m. your time. Any members that may have constructive thoughts and opinions as to what Mr. Greenspan might say today and how it may affect the market are more than welcomed. I guess I’m what they call dumb money because I’m going with my gut.

Is there anyone else out there, besides Birchtree that isn’t mostly in the G fund?

Great site :D, I wish I'd have had this forum16 years ago.

DMA... You made some good calls the last two days. I was wondering where you got the research/insight about the PM decreases??

Sky is right! Squabbles runs off other members. Just fire a single reply. Even Pirates knew that broadside vollies ruined the prize.

PS: I liked your other avatars better! This is a friendly board? Right!

Rgds! ;) Spaf

Spaf,

I changed the avator a while ago (not sure when). it does not take. I tried another one and see if it pops in.

Michael Keaton was red hot in that movie.

With investing I exploit trends.

Market goes up I do not care.

Market goes down I do not care.

I like bear markets more. Normally 90% of stocks go down.

Bull markets you are lucky to have 60% go up.

I will just PM my thoughts. This market is tough. Invidual stocks are exploding.

CNBS added GOOG to the bug two days ago and that oinker has losed 20 points since. When you see GOOG starting to crack, watch out. That has been the rock, the cornerstone. Techinially it better start pulling up the bootstraps.

Appreciate your comments about my calls. Thanks.

Hope I continue to guess well. :D
