Playing the I fund

The USD is droppin' like a rock. Anyone know why?

Now that BOJ and ECB and other world banks are raising rates, coupled with today's employment reports increasing the liklihood that our Fed will STOP raising rates, makes our dollar worth less (and their currency more attractive).

Oops, Show-me beat me to the punch. Or better said, show-me showed me.

Looks like a good day for the I fund. My guess is that it will end up around $19.80 without an FV. Now that I said that, they will probably throw in a 10 cent FV.

Uh-oh. I was thinking about a percent and a half which would put it at about ..................... $19.80. Great minds thinking alike?????? We'll see.

If our markets continue to fall, an FV down becomes more and more likely.

Does anybody know for certain when the FED will meet? Sometimes they meet for more than one day and the announcement is made public on the last day,

I think Tue. is written in stone.

Sugarandspice, I think someone's looking at the the MSCI FAR EAST (+.72%).
MSCI EAFE is at +1.505% :)

To the Barclay People: it is Friday you know. :D

Plus .72 today. Should be up 14-15 cents with no FV?

I am seeing positive 1.505% at MSCI Barra website, am I missing something? (It has been months since I played the I-fund - so any recent changes to the valuation process would be news to me):)

Confirm the 1.5% at MCSI, but with the downward move, will we get a FV, or will the decline in the USD stabilize this closing price?

The decline in the dollar happened early. The decline in our markets happened after noon. I vote for the FV.

What a day!

After that fall back I can't imagine them not doing a FV today. The FSTE rocked on our data and then our market fell back after they closed.

I vote FV today also and I bet the share prices post late today.

If they lay a good FV on us today does that mean they will stick us with a hell of a UF on us Monday?

If Chris goes left the "I" may go right. If he goes right things will get tight! If left he goes the Oil may go low and the "I" may glow, then the UF may burn your toes, and that's the way it goes. What?

I thought Chris was a dead issue!!

Hurricanes are like the Market, you never know which way they will go. A frog can fart in Guatemala and change the weather. ;)
