burrocrat's Account Talk

I see others are lost in the sauce too.
I've been slowed by the tequila.
Sleeping in the tall grass.
Slumbering, purring
Not happy, but
Not sad

wow, it's like ascii art too, the more you stare at it... it has a certain symmetry... you must be an engineer.

no apologies necessary. i hate the word 'sorry'.

if you can't do it here, you probably can't do it anywhere on this site.

i just eventually got tired of falling up gangplanks all knees and elbows and face flat on the deck and defying gravity and god's will fueled by crown royal.

so now it's mostly coor's light. but, pshaaw, only 2? i put 2 down on the way home from work.

What's wrong with 2? One for my left hand and one for my right hand...

i take it you can drive with your knees then? can you put visine in at the same time too?

when i said two, i meant consecutively, not simultaneously,

Awe Burro, my days of trudging back and forth to work are but a distant memory. No need to drive any longer. I can enjoy from the comfort of my living room or meet up with a fellow retiree at the local watering hole. Sometimes it's good to be the king...:D

I know! They can only dream about it.

I just recently joined the ranks as a retiree may 1st. It still feels like a long vacation.get n ready to move to wilmington,nc and get settled in, then it will get to normalcy. I want to be king too heehee

welcome jonfresno, in the interest of species diversity, you can be kangaroo. i've always wanted to visit down under, they have olivia newton john and uluru.

welcome mrbowl, you seem like a wise one, you can be owl. i've often visited nocal, but not lately, they have yosemite sam and el capitan.

that makes 11 players. yo eleven. that's odd. the rules are the same, 1 is lo, 5 is hi, 11 to 55 is the spread with 33 being nuetral. craps, this math is hard.

turtle/amoeba: 5, 2.09%, big bet, they go they roll.
mouse/alevin: 3, 0.68%, not going backwards.
elephant/birchtree: 3, 3.18%, big money big nuts.
lion/boghie: 4, 2.28%, 5x odds on the pass line, no hardways.
donkey/burrocrat: 1, 2.09%, boring.
racoon/fwm: 1, (5.36%), all out.
jonfresno/kangaroo: 3, 2.19%, starting out nuetral.
cougar/jpcavin: 4, 2.39%, simultaneously.
wolf/jth: 5, 8.31%, f*ck me! this guy gots it dialed in. 8.31? really? jerk.
owl/mrbowl: 5, 0.04%, all in i? extreme.
squirrel/pessoptimist: 4, 2.35, way to tough it out, it's paying off.

el vira: 38. let's see, 55 max - 33 nuetral = 22 point spread. 38 - 33 = 5. 5/22 = 23%. getting bullish.

that little run on equities was profitable for some. meanwhile, i feel lucky to be lower middle class. or as we like to say out here in the country 'suckin' hind tit', and that's not a cuss word.

Low Risk / Low Reward Group (Holding Pattern)
donkey/burrocrat - 0% Reward, 0% Risk, Expect 0% Return
mouse/alevin - 0% Reward, 1% Risk, Expect -1% to 1% Return
racoon/fwm - 0% Reward, 0% Risk, Expect 0% Return. Took a bit too much risk, now running for the caves
jonfresno/kangaroo: - 0% Reward, 0% Risk, Expect 0% Return. That doesn't look like a car in neutral to me???

Moderate Risk / Moderate Reward Group (The cats are napping, Eating ok and sleeping ok)
turtle/amoeba - 8% Reward, 8% Risk, Expect 0% to 16% Return, Stick in there with sticky pants. You can do it!!!
lion/boghie - 8% Reward, 8% Risk, Expect 0% to 16% Return. Don't know what to do, so relaxing in the tall grass.
squirrel/pessoptimist - 7% Reward, 9% Risk, Expect -2% to 16% Return. Took a little off the top
cougar/jpcavin - 10% Reward, 11% Risk, Expect -1% to 21% Return. "She's up" when the chickadee with the thong stands up. Pretty risky, but pretty!!!

High Risk / High Reward Group (On the run, chasing prey. BT never stops running)
elephant/birchtree - 11% Reward, 14% Risk, Expect -3% to 25% Return. He runs with an odd lope, like a bull is chasing him

High Risk / These two took the thong off when they stood up. Is Hefner giving them a business card??? My eyes are lousy...
owl/mrbowl: - 11% Reward, 20% Risk, Expect -7% to 29% Return
wolf/jth - 11% Reward, 20% Risk, Expect -9% to 31% Return

Since you put the ? on Owl I assumed you wanted to know the risk thangy. Running around on a public beach without even a thong is pretty risky. If the EuroTrash start mixing it up financially or militarily or by diplomatically scaring each other than the market may move quickly. But, then those weird Europeans seem to walk around public parks buck naked all the time. Now, the wolf just wants to lose those pesky tan lines. He believes he can hike up his speedo quickly enough not to get arrested. They are the quick or the dead. But, they have been on the beach long enough to know they can get away with it.

Kinda like the JPCalvin allocation. Can get away with wearing a thong on the ark. Walking around, lookin' good.

i'm glad i paid attention in geometry class.

poetry in motion. deep.

whoa.

Have been invested in C&S funds 27 of 101 days, my only regret is those damned premium services subscribers won't cut me some slack.

Oops, my bad, I only counted the S-Fund, it's actually 32 of 101 days or 32%

The overall goal is to outperform the markets while being invested half the time, thus far I'm achieving this goal. We have some tricky times ahead of us, I might be nicknamed the wolf but I feel more like a vulture, circling around and picking off the dead carcass...

Today (May 27) makes it 15 days for me. That's a total of 15 days in the S-fund on the year (gain +8.43%).

Hey man, I had the peddle to the metal since mid-March (50S 50I). I just ripped the sticky pants off and jumped(hopped?) into G starting today. Car's in the shop for an oil change and a transmission flush. Hope to get her back on the road soon....;)

every time i visit this thread there is a banner ad at the top for 'rid ex toilet treatment'.
