burro's ark weekly update:

but first some housekeeping. barracuda/dba is out, she went to the darkside over in premium service land. we can't see her trades but the fact that she did that is an agressive move. for the ease of math i need 10 players so she is staying on the list at a 4 rating until i find a replacement.

turtle/amoeba: 3, 1.64%, paper.
mouse/alevin: 3, 0.64%, not going backwards, exposed to bit of risk.
elephant/birchtree: 3, 2.57%, rock.
lion/boghie: 4, 1.52%, portfolio handles downs and volatilty well.
donkey/burrocrat: 1, 2.04%, boring.
barracuda/dreamboatannie: 4, (?.??%), scissors.
racoon/fwm: 5, (6.02%), all in.
cougar/jpcavin: 4, 1.20%, racist.
wolf/jth: 1, 6.71%, locked in. got moves like jagger.
squirrel/pessoptimist: 4, 1.57%, whipped.

el vira: 32. 2/20 points above nuetral. +10%. herd is migrating toward safety.

we went shooting up at the crick yesterday, but not until hauling pickup load of trash and then another load with the washer and a dead bbq up to the landfill. i gave it to xxxxx the vietnam vet that works for the county to operate the fill.

i told him the motor is fine, but the pump is bad and it won't spin. he recycles the motors when he goes to bismarck for va appointments. he also recycles aluminum and as luck would have it, i also had 5 heavy duty contractor bags full of empty beer cans in my yard. i'm not sure where they came from exactly, or when, but there they are. so he came by after closing and picked those up to.

i have only sold or traded 4 guns in my life, and i wished i kept them all instead. but i really don't regret giving xxxxx at the landfill this little .22 marlin bolt action tube mag with a 3x9 one time. i bought it for my son but it was not the right rifle for him at the time. a good little machine for keeping coons out of the garden. i forget what the price to pay later we agreed on was. it wasn't about the money. out here there is not a lot of restrictions on personal freedom. so my estate legally transferred the rifle to his estate with no paperwork or hassle. someday that value will return when i need it. karma, and i'm not a hippy.

anyways po, we did not shoot the washer. we shot beer cans and metal plate paddle targets instead.
 
ok, after carefully weighing my options, i weigh my options alot though not always carefully, dba as a premium service member has got to go. i've ran down the short list and here's what i got:

james 4484687443. but he would have to be 'bear'. my kid's nickname is bear. and if my kid acted like james i would kick his ass up and down the block, twice. and then kick it all the way home until they arrested me or he straightened up and flew right. so james is not in.

userque. but that guy fawkes mask confuses me. i wouldnt know what to call it. probably something reptilian. but i hate masks, and i hate reptiles, especially the kind with no legs. i could probably deal with a chameleon, but they can be hard to spot sometimes. so userque is not in.

crabclaw, but he is premie too. out.

viva la migra or plano. but i have a lot of respect for both those guys and either one could kick my ass in a hearbeat so no way i'm dragging them into the mud.

that leaves jonfresno. you're in.

but i need to know if it's 'john fresno' or 'jo in fresno'. i had a girlfriend one time, well i had a girlfriend more than one time, but this one was named kelsey jo. and it did not work out so well, they never do. plus i can't find an animal that fits. so jonfresno, you want a ticket on the ark? and what are you? free seat up for grabs. just don't go grabbin mine. although if i'm piloting, it is probably a good idea to grab your own and hang on tight.

I think Jonfresno is a fine choice, FOTA (Fathom of the Opera) does have a creepy avatar (yes it actually creeeps me out) but that would have been a fine choice too because at least he has an opinion and doesn't follow the crowd with the same jargon you can get anywhere else.

other option is mr bowl, a bird. not chicken, not turkey, he ain't either of those things. i that about peacock, but it has that word in it and i don't want to get banned very much anymore.

california condor is the obvious choice then, but there is a good chance in northen cal and need some quick help on the run, of course, again. so i hesitate to **** him off either,

ohhhhhh Burro, I'm at -2.39 .....whaaaaaa...do the math! Ouch! :(. I think I somehow I turned around realllll quick and bit my arse with those sharp teethies you gave me!!! :nuts:

i'm going to bite my tongue. hard. twice. and pass on the smartass comments. not really, i couldn't do that even if i tried. but i will save them for later.

annie, you don't have to go. it's just that there's only so many seats on the free bus, and you done means tested yourself out of the game in your fancy chauffeured premium service there. there's others more deserving, i'm sure you understand.

please, swim by, anytime. but you're off the ark. now for the good funny stuff i saved for later.

uhhh. I think you misunderstand Burro. I was not trying to stay on the ark. :confused: .....just shouting out sad state of my financial affairs! :sick:

hi dba, yeah i misunderstand a lot. i was tongue-in-cheek letting you know you're welcome to swim by anytime you like, but it came out wrong, it often does. and i realized a little too late the last two comments were not funny, but i couldn't edit them out by then. i thought about asking a mod to remove them, but then i figured 'you said it, now stand by it'.

i have respect and admiration for what you are doing for your mom. my grandmother went through hospice at my aunt's home and it was difficult for everybody involved. make sure you keep some time for yourself. i was going to stop by your thread and comment, but i didn't want to sully up the place. keep on keepin' on.

Burro , no fretting. Im good. You know that buddy!! :) I just didnt want you to think I wanted to stay on the ark as you know I cant...but if I ever return from the land of Intrepid you know I might just have to bite you relentlessly to get back on the ark!! :D. Either that or bribe you with a monkey..

I must admit I had to do a double take on the last two comments though... laughed!! Thats Burro!! But you did sound just a little cranky... Maybe try drinking a hot cup of chamomile tea. Does wonders for me! :).

Yes I'll swim by. Thanks for compliment on caring for mom, I have a feeling the toughest parts are yet to come.. So say a little prayer for me. Bye for now, DBAnnie
