burrocrat's Account Talk

2/3rd through the year and i'm still going to stick with my fast trades only strategy for the duration this cycle. i've only made 1 round turn, a few days in hit and git. sitting at +2.5% or so, which is better than negative at least.

i hope volatility is here to stay for a while because that's how i'm going to make my money honey. let it crash and make it a good one please. i want to see bulls crying and hear bondholders pee their jumpsuits. or is it the other way around? let 'er buck.

on a positive note, i got the kid bathed and fed and the obligatory 1st day of school family photos taken so productivity took a huge jump already today. bring on the fall.

And how do you get capital - you earn it and save it. Then you invest it to make more of it - nothing difficult about that. But it does help to have vision. And how do you get vision - you study and learn - that requires work and a life time of experience. But once you have vision you need courage to follow through and that's where many fall off the tracks. Being pusillanimous in this market environment is not a strategy it leads to somnolence and no gains.
First time I seen the word. How many of us knew what the word meant? Being pusillanimous in this market has lead has lead to large drops in my ETRADE account.

Handballer, BT likes to use big words. It keeps us old timers on our toes and hopefully slows down the rate our brains turn to mush. That's why I started the BT's Big Words list over on the http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/lounge/6372-trivia-81.html#post418091 Thread.

You may want to check it out if you haven't already. It's a list of obfuscated proverbs, adages, sayings, etc. Bring a dictionary.

If Handballer is not interested, maybe someone should tip off BT. I bet he wouldn't even need the dictionary!:D

i invented a new game, i'm thinking about calling it 'dunk the donkey' but i need some help with the r&d.

i was at the county fair and they have one of those swimming tanks where you pay a dollar to throw baseballs at a target and try to get the cop all wet. now he knows and you knows you really want to pitch a fastball straight at his face, but there's this plexiglass in between and it's for a good cause so that don't happen. but if you can dunk the deputy they give you a free dare t-shirt and some pencils.

anyways, i was thinking of opening my thread for a trial run. there's got to be lots of folks out there that would like a free shot and i could always use the constructive criticism for my annual self-realization and sensitivity therapy.

come one come all, it's open season until midnight sunday, say what you need to say, no hit backs, i promise. then we'll just roll up the tent and, like that strange half hour behind the bearded lady's trailer when i was 14, pretend it never happened. it's way past time for a round of bash the burro, hey mama rock me.

burro is so dumb that nnuut saw him staring at the frozen orange juice cans and asked him why...."sssshhhh, I'm trying to concentrate"

Hey burro, I love what you are doing with your hair now, looks great, how did you make it come out of your nostrils like that
Hey burro, I know your opinion on the public school system, but please tell me you don't home school your kids
Hey burro, we have all met someone unique like you in our lives.......but we had to pay admission first
Hey burro, we all try to see things from your point of view, but we can't seem to get our heads that far up our ass
Hey burro, OMG, was anyone else hurt in the accident
Hey burro, the best part of you dribbled down your old mans pant leg
Hey burro, there is something on your chin, not that one, not that one either, the third one

But seriously folks, burro is a great guy and let's all give him a hand for being such a good sport, not that kind of hand DBA
I'll never forget the first time I met burro...........although I keep on trying to
All of us have our theories of why we have been blessed with burro's wit and charm, but I think I have figured out why...........
parents siblings?

thanks for coming everyone, don't forget to tip your waitress, drive home safely.......one last round of applause for burro

Folks who aspire to be stand-up comics might need to consider how much of their menu is coming from a Saturday night PUI.

Wait...Scrappy is that you...no you can't change your golf picks next April...that never gets old, hey ooooooohhhhhhhhhh
Now I really have to go..............off to my second job that is, to pay for the weeks worth of ramen noodles my ex-wife has so graciously afforded me to live off of...you know why divorce is so expensive.........it's worth it

Hello SISTAHS! Thanks for all your posts last weekend that keep me entertained.

Now I really have to go..............off to my second job that is, to pay for the weeks worth of ramen noodles my ex-wife has so graciously afforded me to live off of.

Sorry to hear about your ramen noodles menu, roknfrewld. Here's what Freddie (age 6) has to say about marriage.

WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married.
-- Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age)

Hop on over to the lounge (post #719) if you're interested in more comments from some wise kids (posted by OBGibby).

some good ones so far, but the level of participation is little dissapointing. keep 'em coming, i said no hit backs if that's what's bothering folks. this only happens once a year so load it up buttercups, otherwise you may end up stewing on that impulse for another twelve months, and that's not healthy.

i know we can do better than this, let 'er rip tater chip. only 15 hours to go on this special offer, sunday sunday sunday.

(read in David Caruso corny voice from CSI)

Well tspers, it appears burro's Sunday, will be a bloody one ....yyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh

i'm feeling kinda dejected, i'm tired of being rejected, none of my haters are connected...
