You all say I can put my cot and sleeping bag anywhere since everyone is leaving! Where is the supply sergeant so I can request a hollywood bed and mattress.

If it wasn't for fear, this would be one of those "No Brainer" kinda days.

I can't speak for the others, but fear had nothing to do with my decision. The reversal in yields and the dollar, within the last hour, had a lot to do with it. Also, it's very obvious that the S&P and tech are hitting resistance at the top of current range.

I think that the majority of people who use the pre-price calculations of the I fund for making decisions are not using your estimates. We have a tried and true method in place and well-established. No disrespect intended. Just a fact.


Take the Bears...........plus the points.

U presume too much...I wasn't trying to replace someone, but having two or more posting will insure an accurate result or if one is not available in some way...always does.

Go try the G fund thread if you want notoriety.............better yet, use your crystal balls to figure out the F fund.

I didn't say anything like that. I said no one is using your estimates. 350 has set the standard and a damn good one. Keep trying. Effort is always appreciated.

I'm not questioning why you moved to the G fund, you said it very simply "capital preservation". In otherwords you simply where not willing to accept the risk.

I think for discussion purposes we would agree that the dollar is moving sideways (probably down now against the yen), europe is rocking (green last 4 days) and Japan is just now getting ready to play catchup. The OSM doesn't necessarily need to have a green USM day to have a green OSM night and morning, nor does it require seasonality. Not sure how this will equate to returns for tomorrow but in my opinion it will pay better than the USM (C or S) and definitely be green.

The reason underlying the statement was simply did everyone make independant assessments or not? Personality, I think independant assessments are a healthy thing and need to be incouraged whenever possible.

I apologize to everyone for not having more time to contribute to this MB, but discussions are a learning tool for this forum and need to be promoted.

Hope everyone is getting ready to throw snowballs and not bricks?

Not much in debth TA for my assessments. I simply note where the following have been & are at. Then look at the overall picture for my assessment:

- Total International (trend)

- The Nik (high/low)

- The Dollar (against Euro, Pound, and Yen)

- The (I) Share price (high/low)

- EFA (high/low)

- USM resistance ranges

- 350z's faithfull estimates (which I am trying to privately work out on my own for comparison)

There is a method to my madness.
