Thinking about FV play today. Trying to decipher if the Fedspeak will bring the dollar back up from its current position enough to matter. .........

I was just thinking about that....I have a feeling the dollar will continue to fall tomorrow on the ISM report.

You guys had a great opportunity to vote in a governor who probably could have turned a lot of that around based on his proven past personal business successes. Still, it's not too late for some tax cuts. It sounds like you need to attract businesses to create more jobs.sugarandspice

It was a choice between I and F for me. I chose I because it's my favorite fund.
As for the Bears, I've never gambled with sports and never will. I will not saying about the outcome of the game in fear that I might jinx the Bears.

Fed stayed the same (expected) and mentioned the recent economic rise without mentioning possible actions. Meaning: This will be taken as a signal that a future interest rate drop chances has been reduced. The Fed my like what it sees in terms of potiential Goldilocks scenaro. This should theoretically raise Dollar Index (speculators will see less chance of interest rate drop which would lower value of dollar???). I have to admit I was surprised to see the dollar drop -- could some speculators been thinking an interest rate hike or sell the news?/? Either way, I think well see the index increase over the next month or so.

Yeah, I raised 10% to 50%. I thought I'd be playing a potential -FV with reversal tomorrow. (Isn't that what you meant, 350z?)

I wouldn't worry too much about the +FV. With this much pin action, the OSM are sure to follow and that could cover whatever FV is to be given back plus more, hopefully.
Yes, I suppose this is true. And the positive action in the C and S will do me some good today that will further bring balance to the Force.

Yup, I was wrong. I was not expecting a market freindly Fed. If I had followed my indicators yesterday, I'ld still be in the market, but instead, I trusted my "gut feeling". I wish I can kick myself in the gut!
As for the +FV, we are screwed! It's going to be a big one.

Earlier today I was suspecting a positive market action due to some data I have....since the I was up this morning, it looked positive for the suspicion....now if I got a positive FV with the deal....I'll beYup, I was wrong.
