Z - man,

I would predict that in about eight months your poison of choice will be the C fund. The Europeans are already coming here to shop and vacation - not spending those luxury euros at home. Soon they will be buying second homes. We are for sale and the eurozone folks will still be able to afford our exports when they are at home. The Chinese remain the wild card.

You're doing a GREAT job! Don't beat yourself up so bad. We don't want you to burn out. Given that there is a lot of info that you aren't privy too, it is very understandable that discrepancies are going to happen (or typos or just plain mistakes). We look at the TREND here and the trend is that your estimates have been invaluable, period.

Unbelievable! I go out to shovel 8" of snow, come back two hours later and find the market has recovered big time. What is it going to take to crash this market? GDP to come in at 0%? That's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

My TSP Talk Tracker (2006 Excel) has the I-Fund at 22.51%; Same time period.
Any one else have this difference????

22.51 is correct thru Nov 30th, the 20.88 might be thru the end of Oct.

You are getting 20.88% because you are adding the percentages together. Each end of month percentage is calculated by comparing the fund's price at the end of the month to the fund's price at the beginning of the month. If you just add 1% to 1% you can't say it equals 2%. Each 1% could be 1% of two very different numbers:

It's like this .01x + .01y, not .01x + .01x
