Playing the I fund

FTSE is trying to claw it way back into positive territory. Perhaps the mood is set. Question now is will there be profit taking after the Noon deadline?

Right! I hate it when that happens, Camel Hump Days are bad news!

Now I'm feeling pretty good! FTSE is in positive territory and the USD index is in a nose dive.
GOOD NEWS I FUNDERS!!!

I trust that as long as the relative value of the dollar is lower in relation to other currencies, that we can assimilate some drops in the price of the index. Is it not uaual for a lower Dollar to offset some, if not all, of the price drop in the EAFE, EFA, or FSIIX?

I am getting real. My previous posts today are still valid. However, I have to admit to giving in to euphoria. After reading some financial articles and listening to some news regaring an airplane that was diverted to Canada on the the way to the U.S. from London, I have opted to tone down my impulses. This morning I was 70% G and 30% I-fund. Instead of going 100% I-fund today, I am transfering only 60% to the I-fund and increasing G from 30% to 40%. If there should be a correction soon, I will consider the dip!

FTSE ends flat as British Energy hit, miners gain

LONDON, Aug 16 (Reuters) - Britain's leading shares closed little changed on Wednesday as pressure from a raft of stocks trading ex-dividend and a fall for power generator British Energy <BGY.L> was countered by buoyant miners and renewed hopes of a pause for interest rates.

No, doubt it. But you can call the TSP hotline and get the #'s before they are posted to their website.

I just dialed the TSP hotline and see if I could get the TSP numbers before the website. I got connected to the real person and he read the yesterday fund returns to me off the website.
