I unloaded the 50% lot of NUGT I bought at $40 for $42 to mitigate some of the drawdown for the overall trade. Will buy back around $38 if we make it there this week. Holding remaining half for $50 price target. If we get stuck in a $5 trading range for the near term, I will repeat this strategy to get back into the green. Will maintain a 50% position at all times, however.
IBM was on sale today, so I added a chunk to my dividend portfolio.
Just a heads up to all you lurkers that are not members of TSPTalk, I will be stiffening up the privacy settings for this thread next Friday, so you will no longer have access to the content contained herein unless you are a registered member. I feel this will benefit all the members on this board and give me more control over who is reading the information I provide.
Oleg, help clarify for me and others; when you sold @ $42 that left you with a 25% position in NUGT. You then bought back in @ $38 (?) thereby raising your position stake back up to 50% correct? And in turn sold today @ $45?
why would you want to control the people who read the information you provide?
controlling people is not good in my experience. offering information, on the other hand, at least gives the reader a choice. what is it you propose to offer and what do you expect in return?
Oleg - Forgive me if you have already provided this but I was curious what stocks do you currently hold in your "dividend portfolio"?
I'm not ready to disclose all my strategies/portfolios, but some of my favorites are: AAPL, T, BP, GE, HAL, VZ, ABT, ABBV, BPT, MRK, IBM, RNDY. Just to name a few!

This is crap, you aren't the chosen one, you offer nothing special that can't be found within the trashcan of crappy systems that come and go on this site. If you were killing it on the tracker maybe I'd give you some street cred, but you're not, no not even close. No I will not ignore you or anyone else (there are many) who think they have "the" system, if you post in a public forum you should expect to be audited.

buckeye113,
I've been blessed with 125 dividend increase announcements ytd - would you like the list?

Thanks for the comment. Just so you know, in case you haven't taken the time to read through this thread to see what I've actually "proclaimed," I never said I was the chosen one or had "the system." I do have 2 systems that, so far, have been working very well, and I share their signals free of charge to everyone on this forum. I'm not looking for street cred from you, as the many members that have been following me for a while (before I started this thread) know my reputation. While were on the topic, however, I don't think I have posted even one losing trade on here since I started this thread. But, I actually welcome comments such as yours as I've learned success inevitably breeds jealousy and contempt. I'm glad you demonstrated just how emotional you are with regard to my decision to limit the content of this account talk to include ALL TSPTalk members, I'm sure that bodes well for your trading ability. Feel free to audit me all you want, I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
Oh, and FYI, I haven't updated my Autotracker in over a year, too busy trading real money to be competing for coffee mugs (no offense Tom) ;-)
TSP is real money, the only accountable measure of performance within this forum is the Autotracker, are we supposed to believe you are successful in your outside account but not in TSP, that is the point. When we see a trader whose actions don't match up with AT performance it should be mentioned.
