Slight correction to what I said about the link below. It's not in "real time". Results delayed by approx. 15 minutes. Sorry for the mistake. ;damnit

Wish I had something to post on my own TSP account, but I'm still too chicken to make a move yet, so here's just a generic, current FYI . . . .
More info here >>>> U.S. Adds 272,000 Jobs in May, an Unexpectedly Strong Pace of Hiring - The New York Times

What to know about the latest jobs report.
The American labor market delivered robust job growth in May, the Labor Department reported Friday, even as the unemployment rate ticked up.
The unexpectedly strong hiring shows that employers remain undaunted, despite pressure from high interest rates and slowing consumer spending. But there were some mixed signals in the report, with results from a survey of households painting a weaker picture than a survey of businesses.
What it means for the Fed: The report was not what Federal Reserve officials have been hoping for: They would like to see slowing job and wage growth and continued low unemployment. Instead, the report showed accelerating job and wage growth and rising joblessness. In the end, the data is unlikely to affect the Fed’s decision next week on interest rates, when most economists expect policymakers to leave rates unchanged.
How markets reacted: Stocks were flat and government bond yields rose sharply as the report raised concerns that inflation’s gradual decline could yet stall. That has led investors to slash bets on the Fed cutting interest rates in the near future, implying that historically high rates will continue to weigh on the economy for many months to come.

Off Topic, but is anyone else getting this?? I use Google Chrome browser most of the time, and they have this new Google AI Overview thing in the browser now. I get this (right) side bar blue thing when I come here now, but not when I use Firefox browser, so I'm assuming it's definitely part of that Google AI stuff. When you click it, it opens up a whole side table with suggestions, but even when you click the "X" to get rid of it, it just minimizes and just sits there. Dam, that's annoying, and I'm not sure there's a way to get rid of it or make it stop. :banghead:
Sorry............. I was just curious.

Is this some kind of browser "add on" that you installed, or is it a default? I don't use Chrome but I tried it and I can't see to duplicate it.

Nahhh, I didnt add anything. I'm thinking it was included with the latest Chrome update that incorporated this new Google AI Overview feature. I think it's part of that. I'm still researching it. Most people seem to hate it and can't figure out how to turn it off. It's just hella annoying. Google can just never seem to leave hell enough alone. UUGGHHH.....

I am seeing it now on my browser. I think it is one of Google's new ad formats. They make suggestions and I probably implemented something when they asked if I want to try it.

So, yeah, it's me not a spam thing or anything, but if it's too annoying I will try to shut it down. Thanks for pointing it out.

A least I know someone is seeing ads. I know many gov't agencies and browsers just turn ads off. While annoying and I try to keep the ads limited (some sites are unbearable), to me that's just stealing our content - kind of like fast forwarding through commercials, which I do :embarrest:, but government agencies? But I have to pay for the servers somehow. There's no ads in our premium content.

Hey thanks Tom, at least now I know I'm not going crazy.
I'm not a computer tech at all, but I kinda figured it was a Google thing cause if you right click it and then click on "inspect", it opens up a side panel that has description information on all the page layers (I hope I'm saying that right). I could then determine that the blue bar thing was a Google thing from the description from that right side panel. I wish I knew more about computers and stuff, but it's just not my thing.
:o
I'm really starting to hate Google Chrome. They always gotta be messin with stuff........
You da Man ! ! ! !

Good Morning...... Just an FYI with some fresh data. The vid is good where he goes over all the numbers. Does this mean inflation's back??? :dunno: (which means possibly no Sept rate cut??) :boggled::ugh1:
