Geeee, if Harry Clark can get a Dow of 12,000 by the end of September I should be able to get a Dow of 17,000 by the end of December. A little shock and awe would be positive.

Atilla is calling for Dow to be below 8200 by the end of June.

Good TA on Crude Oil here. If current market trends remain intact, this TA suggests crude continues higher along with a declining dollar. This could be an argument for exposure to the I fund as I would expect equities to move higher as well.

Remember, this is just one view point. Risk has not abated and will continue to elevate should this pattern hold true.

Dip buyers didn't waste much time buying back in today. I would have expected the move to occur around 3:30.

Yesterday we saw a reveral late in the day. This action makes entry/exit with TSP impossible to gauge for short term trades, whether the action is up or down in that last hour.

Sooner or later we'll breakout, but which way?

Only my opinion.. I'm 100%I btw.. I think the current market upward trend will continues as 10 yr t-bond yield continues to increase, but at some point, the govt will have to either let the market or the $ crash. At this rate, the housing market will be flooded with more foreclosure and bankrupcy because 30 yr interest rate will skyrocket and the rest of good ppl with option arm will have no choice, but to walk away. The govt will let the market crash, but I think they are waiting for more cushion underneath. They will manipulate the market and let it rise to the point where they feel comfortable to let it drop. I'm waiting for that moment to move back into G.

We have a short term reversal in those yields at the moment, supposedly because of Japan's voiced commitment to hold and continue to buy those bonds. Seems to have at least put a short term bid under bonds. Your view could play out though. This trading range suggests the jury is out on any further rally or decline. Seems like we're waiting for something to happen first.

Iranian presidential candidate Mir Hossein Mousavi at a press briefing in Tehran after the June 12 voteThe Iranian election is currently in turmoil. Both Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and challenger Mir Hossein Mousavi are claiming to be ahead in the vote. Preliminary results from the presidential vote show Ahmadinejad leading; Iranian Election Commission chief Kamran Danesho held a press conference at 11:45 p.m. local time and announced that with some 20 percent of the votes counted, the president was leading with 3,462,548 votes (69.04 percent), while his main challenger, Mousavi, had 1, 425,678 (28.42 percent). Sources tell STRATFOR that these preliminary numbers pertain to the votes from the smaller towns and villages, where the president has considerable influence, as he has distributed a lot of cash to the poor.

However, Iran’s state-run Press TV is saying that only 10 million of 24 million votes, or around 42 percent of the vote, have been counted. At the same time, they are also claiming that 69 percent of the vote has been counted. Obviously the numbers are not adding up, and the agencies themselves appear to be in chaos.

Prior to the announcement of the results, Mousavi held a press conference in which he said he was the winner of the election. The opposition camp is greatly concerned about fraud, and STRATFOR has been told that Mousavi has vowed to resist any fraud, even if it entails taking to the streets. This means there is considerable risk of unrest should Ahmadinejad emerge as the winner. But so far there is no evidence that the government is mobilizing security forces to deal with any such eventuality.

The situation is being monitored carefully, as it is potentially explosive.

Six of the seven are in sell territory, including the usually tardy $BPCOMPQ. Only the TRIN failed to confirm today. The internals are eroding, slowly but oh so surely. One puff of wind to the South and the market will settle into it's trade route to the Southern Hemisphere- perhaps to parts unknown. Gap down Monday? We'll see. Good weekend all, D

Funny you posted the Election article. That was the reason I stepped out today. In the remote chance Mousavi wins this thing I believe it would have a short term positive affect on the market early next week. If not I don't think it would have an opposite affect.

I have read mixed reports on the benefits of Mousavi winning or losing. It seems that if the people behind the real power wheel are still the fanatics, that nothing will change substantially. As long as the Iranian ruling elite remains fixated in acquiring nuclear power and in becoming the leaders in the region, the stresses and dangers of escalating conflict will remain the same.

That was a quick count from an election with over 80% turnout (bwa hah ha). ACORN has blankin' nothing to do with this, Iraq is notorius for being pro-pale skin. What you've got here looks like pre-published result data. Probably busy dumping all the votes from the women's side boxes (seperate voting areas) too.

I trust CNN a little more here than Washington post since they are constantly reporting and have someone on the ground...Armenajad has been declared the winner...
