What Happened To Global Warming, it's NOT!!

I think he did know Steady. He knew exactly what he was doing, why and what the ramifications of his actions could be, but believed that the End would justify the MEANS.
Reminds me of some of our leaders, and you know who they are and what the END is that they are seeking.

Well that deserves a Mutly Laugh and 2 Thumbs Up !!

Ya mean wiki can be changed:confused: Kinda like re-wrting history. Well we know what group is known for that.....USSSR anyone.
Actually, most anyone can change information already posted in Wikipedia - they don't do much in the way of checking credentials - the way I've understood it for these past several years.
That is one reason citing Wiki-pe causes me to doubt folks who would want to use it as proof of anything.
Now, they may have changed their vetting system, but I don't know that I'd believe that, either ! :notrust:

Man, I am SO disappointed my wife talked me out of transferring to a town near Omaha a few years ago.:cheesy:

Here comes the arctic blast... Hang on if you are anywhere Chicago and east- this one is REALLY cold and snowy......
Ahead of that line through the middle of the country- heavy snow in the north, and rain farther south. Snow dumps a foot in Nebraska, Iowa. Behind the front, temps dip below zero, with wind chills in double digits below zero.....

Here comes old man winter.....headed east now.

Hey- like I said before-

Here is the absolute positive evidence that global warming exists, and is real:

i have admit i miss the '80's but i'm sure looking forward to the next fashion decade. notice the rising trendline in the cotton panel and clothes pin index there. maybe as a society we've learned something, at least per capita we're using less land for an invasive crop and cutting down less trees. unfortunately, the gains may have been offset by the increase in tattoos to cover up the resulting bare spots, now if we could just mandate a switch to soy based ink.

^CPCP is wear it's at.

I disagree James. The link shows decreasing morals and modesty.

Surely that's a little harsh my friend :p

What I saw is completely different from what I thought I might encounter

Anyway -- perhaps it is the one small way that shows how our civilization is advancing to some degree. The more we can escape from the 'burdens' of the past and come to an increasing greater freedom the more we can appreciate all that life has to offer.

Nothing would more push Society towards trimming down and getting in shape than letting this trend continue

And I'm trying to save some tomato plants with 22 degree chill at night. I have them covered with sheets a little black plastic and a 100 watt bulb burning all night. They are paying a price - but they live. I hope no one lives in a flood plain come spring.

Just out of curiosity, has any fed with bona fide credentials in this area posted in this thread yet? If so, who was it? I want to read their opinion.

Global Climate Change is real...don't listen to climatologists like Sean Hannity or Dr Rush Bimbo.

Or the 5% of meteorologists (many who don't specialize in climate) who have far right wing political leanings and are funded by the oil industry).

Anyway...the "GLOBAL" Warming is real. Leading into early December, the year 2009 was already set at the 5th warmest in over 100 years.

Unfortunately 2 week cold snaps across the Eastern US and Western Europe don't outweigh the other 50 weeks.

Making a global warming assesment bases on the recent weather is kind of like taking a 2 week slight pullback in the Nasdaq in mid 1999 and claiming that those predicting the QQQ to be a good investment for the year were totally wrong.

Remember 1999 in the Nasdaq? Ahhh...someday...maybe again.

Sincerely,

A meteorologist with 22 years of professional experience who was a global warming "agnostic" until a few years ago.

Yes, global warming and climate change are real. The sun, the stars, the moon, rain, snow, blizzards, droughts too. It's all real and part of nature. But all the hoop-la about how man has somehow caused any of this to change is a bunch of crap! Man didn't cause it and man cannot change it. The earth changes everyday, according to the weather. Always has....always will! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. :) Whadya think, nnuut?! :D

Put down and step away from the "I believe" button. ;)
