Tsunami's Account Talk

Tsunami,
I would prefer the 1044 now that I'm sitting in a better position than I was the last one. Just need that good push to put me a comfortable position. If only it was that easy.

Me too, I'm definitely positioned for a fall here but am out of ITF's to take advantage of a brief dip. I'm afraid that many of the available sellers out there have already sold though (just look at the Tracker, lots of people 100% in G), so unless news events snowball I don't see things getting too bad beyond a nasty 2 or 3 day drop. I'm not ignoring the possibility of that wave 3 down the bears are calling for though.

For anyone interested in gold, this is a chart to keep on hand. Historically, on average, gold tends to correct from mid-February to mid-March and again in October, but the rest of the year is up, up, up. Right on cue, many technicians think the markets (and gold/commodities) should start a correction next week that lasts well into March.

LOL!!!:D

If gold/commodities correct, the dollar will continue rising. Or is it the other way around? Who's the dog and how's the tail?:D

Interesting article. I do believe there will be significant hard times in the near future and the multi--billionaire banksters who run nation banks such as the Fed always benefit during turmoil.... just like some Wall Street financial companies are making record profits now during these hard times.
Something's gotta give...and soon.

I guess the question of the day is... if/when this does happen, where should your investments be? Gold, China, under your pillow????

I need to work on my lead investments....

The local Hollywood Video around the corner from me is closing, looks like Blockbuster is right in their footsteps, finally done in by Netflix and Redbox, etc.

Right out of their quarterly report today: "substantial doubt exists with respect to the Company’s ability to continue as a going concern".

The dollar is moving up again tonight: http://quotes.ino.com/chart/?s=NYBOT_DX&v=i The dollar and stocks have been tied together with a strong umbilical cord lately. The bears are running out of time though on this takedown attempt, it's now or never, or I get my rally up to 1228 real soon. I just hope it waits a few more days when I can reload my ITF's.

This would be funnier if it wasn't so serious....

As Casey Research put it in their daily blurb today "it seems every major currency is circling the drain these days". Jim Rodgers is predicting that the pound could collapse within weeks: http://www.prisonplanet.com/prominent-investor-pound-could-collapse-within-weeks.html

I'm guessing all these warnings from very rich and very smart folks are a little early since I'm holding to my theory that the top is six months away, but it's coming.

Rogers clarified: "...denied saying the U.K. pound is on the brink of collapse, but confirmed his negative views on sterling."

Wonder if he was taking a page out of history for some private action?
"When their informers reported "the scoop" of Napoleon’s defeat at Waterloo, Rothschild agents in London started to sell stocks, acting as if the French had won."

Thank you Warrenim! That fits my view of reality much better. I don't think there's a imminent collapse of any sort, not yet anyway.
