That's correct MM. But there are four hours between the time of the IFT is entered and the time when it becomes effective (at close). As we all know the market is a wild beast that in four hours it changes direction and covers a lot of ground.The deadline causes the effective date doesn't it? Before deadline, effective COBthat day. After deadline, effective COB the next day.

You are right. Except that if you like to make frequent IFT's, then the extra couple of hours of market trend will not do much for you if your transaction becomes effective four hours after you enter it.The later the deadline the better, in my opinion. Just means I have an extra couple of hours of market trend to base my move on.

Start the count after the day the IFT is executed. Ignore negative days unless they triggered a sell signal.On your count of 4 then sell signal, does it have to be 4 consecutive days in a row? The S and C funds were down on tuesday. Also, when do you sell the high risk section?
