09-28-05: The I-Fund triggered a Buy Signal. See charts at http://www.tspgo.com

IFT Request entered before noon 09-29-05

G = 60 F = 00 C = 00 S = 00 I = 40

Nothing has changed. All indicators are still pointing down for the S&P to hit 1197 - 1175 in October. The S&P might test 1122 - 1227 resistance before going down. The bounce should be short-lived. It should go down fast from there to hit the 1195-1175 supports. Then up fast to complete the last leg of this uptrend.

Keep in mind that when the S&P goes down there is no safe haven in stock. It drags the S with it, andevetually the I will follow.

Again, I might be wrong but the 5-5-10 Rule will keep me on the right side of the market regardless if it goes up or down. The problem comes when it is bouncing and going nowhere. The funds hit Sell and Buy signals often creating more work for Pyriel.

Good luck.

TSPGO, I just wanted to applaud your moves in the I-fund last week. Your model had you timing moves into and out of the I-fund perfectly. Your gains should be very good for September. I'm holding I-fund in a long position through the end of this year, but am watching the daily action. You probably earned 3% off of the I-fund in one week and if this up and down action continues probably more. I understand that your model is more of a trend following model but it hits that daily chop perfectly. Keep it up.

TSPGO didn't the S signal a sell signal today? I am thinking I fund will signal a sell signal tomorrow or Friday.

The S&P 500 hit the 1197 support line. TA indicates that there should be a fast parabolic rebound from these levels to the 1260+. The ideal thing to do is to buy and hold. Also, consider the possibilty that if it does not turn around tomorrow, it might go down to kiss the 1175-1179 support line. The lower it goes the faster the rebound to reach the top of the last leg of this bull market. The top should be reach by the last week in November. Everything is not lost. We should be able to get back everything plus more.

We are at good entry point. The first move should take us up for a ride of at least 20 points. If you get in or if you are already invested in stocks use caution. Get out when the S&P hits between 1197 and 1202. Sit on G until until the S&P hits 1212 then get back in. If 1200 does not hold, big trouble lies ahead. If 1212 holds we are in for nice ride. Let the market tell you what to do. Don't jump ahead of it.

The TSPGO website (http://www.tspgo.com) and the tspgo_com's account page here are out of sync. A C-Fund buy signal was generated on 10/19/05. It was posted at the website but it was not posted here. Today the C-Fund triggered a sell signal. It is posted at the website but it will not be posted here. Both pages will be synchronize when the next C-Fund buy signal is triggered. I am expecting it to happen sometime early next week.

Current position here is 100% G.

My apologies if you are following the 5-5-10 Rule.

I trust everybody is doing well!.

It has been, and it still is, quite a task to be able to loggin and share some thoughts about the market with all of you. Around the time when Katrina came I was in the process of relocating from PA to FL, specifically Miami. I got stuck in a hotel for almost two months. Then came Wilma. I have been without electricity since then. I am still longing for the day when I will be able to loggin without my laptop turning itself off immediately after my dial up connects.

Where are we now? Well, the S&P when up to 1204 and sank right back to were it was. I hate to disappoint anybody but things are not looking to great for the near future. If you look at a S&P daily chart, from Jan 03 - till now you will observe a huge RST triangle. It hit the upper line of the triangle at 1217 on 01/03 then hit the bottom on 1/24 at 1103 then hit the top on 3/7 (1229), the bottom on 4/18 (1158), then last to hit the top was on 8/03 at 1246. Then it started going down until it hit 1168. Right now it has been in consolidation mode ranging between 1175 - 1200. The problem is that below 1175 the next support line is around 1150. It is not a strong support. If you look carefully you should see that if it breaks 1175 it will be heading down to the 1050's in less than two months. (I am trying to figure out a way to post the graph)

What should we do to keep our hard earned TSP money?. Sit on G until the S&P hits above 1204 and stays above 1200, then get back in. If 1175 does not hold, take a long vacation and don't look back. Again, let the market tell you what to do. Don't jump ahead of it. TSPGO!"

Are you in the process of getting a new address/web page??
Dear Grandma:

It is good to hear from you again.

No. It was brought to my attention that the website was inaccessible and it was being re-routed to the host page. So it seems it was temporary problem at server.

I am having difficulties updating the website on a regular basis because I relocated to Miami, FL. and there is not power (electricity) in my neighborhood thanks to Wilma. The website (www.tspgo.com) is up and running today.

An discussion is going on about the benefits and advantages of changing the IFT dateline to a later time during the day. The problems is not the noon dateline but when the transaction becomes effective.

The deadline causes the effective date doesn't it? Before deadline, effective COBthat day. After deadline, effective COB the next day.

Good luck to you T-GO. We were Wilma-tized down here in Key West, too.
