The Beatles "White Album" is what carried all the messages for Charles Manson - made him realize his calling.
The guy I just saw told me he got his messages from - guess who - Jimi Hendrix
I'm like Wow man that is really cool.
Turns out he's the white horsemen. According to him that's the leader of the 4 horsemen after "The Seal" is broken. Anyway it started a good while back with he found a black cat that he called Meralin. Well he said it was a really cool cat and he's petting it and the next thing a white cross appears on it's stomach. Apparently the hair was pure white "whiter than snow" - so he went to show his mom and the cross was gone - totallly disappeared. So that's about the time 'The Abonmination started". He explained this is when they were "frying his ass" with rays from outer space satellites.
I really enjoy this guy - but today I started laughing because I thought it sounded so funny - and everytime I start to laugh - He gives this real serious look like "You find something funny" so of course I cover it quickly with "I'm just so amazed at what has happened and all the things transpiring in your life - how priviledged you are - that you have such a huge calling"
So that kept him rattling on another 5 minutes or so - explaining that it's just his destiny. Then told me he can turn electricity into fire.
And I'm like "Man you are one cool dude"
So there ya go my favorite for today - Hendrix giving him messages and using terms like "cool cat"

WV Girl - I haven't seen you around for a long time but sure thought about you last night. I never did explain this very well. Told you about my parents being from WV and a lot of my relatives and such but never explained why I'm in the midwest.
OK - about 11 years ago while working for the State of NC - I had 6 weeks of vacation I needed to use up and so our family took a long vacation out west - took the northern route going out and the southern going back. Well we pretty much started the trip with my inlaws (in IL) joining us at the start and stayed at a ranch in WY. They've always been as close to me as my own parents - I mean these guys are just super. After the ranch they went back home while we went on to Devil's Tower - Yellowstone - Tetons - Utah... Well it was during this vacation I felt God telling me that I (and my family) were to look out for them when they got older and take care of them. If anyone has ever had this experience they know God's calling is undeniable - there is such a huge certainty that accompanies this that there is no way you do anything but accept it. So I asked my inlaws what they planned when they got too old to care for themselves and they said they'd go to an Assisted Living - Retirement Home in **, IL. So I told them we would relocate to that area and be set up and in place and ready to go. Well they moved about 5 minutes from us after we moved and things have gone great. Yesterday his horse spooked, knocked him down and broke his lower right leg. SO STARTING THIS EVENING I WILL GO OVER AND START DOING THE DUSTING, VACUMMING, MOWING, AND THE VARIOUS CHORES UNTIL HE MENDS UP.
Anyway - I'd remembered this post from way back but didn't take time to explain why I moved out to the mid west - and now that they are finally needing our services - thought it would be a good time to explain.
I'm missing you, GGal, Charmed, Mamikin and a lot of the old crowd so feel free to jump in anytime and let us know how things are going.

Robo's BEAR CAVE - is hard to beat and I wish I had been more in tune with it prior to my ITF yesterday.
Still with the volume largely remaining hidden and the FED finally out of the picture it should be easier to guage the general sentiment trends that dominate Market activity.
I dumped when the Trend went down and remained in safety during the biggest drop. It seems to me that if the Markets were going to really dive on some significant news - the Financials would have done it - so it looked as if the worst was over (temporarily).
Going in 100% S Fund yesterday at what appeared to be evidence of more "upbeat mentality" may have been a mistake - but Markets usually follow fairly predictable patterns and we've been in a general slump long enough to expect an upward pattern soon. So the best I can do is stay put and hope for the best.

This is silly..you'll do no such thing..your wisdom and wit is part of the foundation to this MB..not to mention the vast amount of expertise you wield in the stock market..My friend, you of all people should know that you can't please all the people all of the time...And you know how male egos are with a few extra coins jingling in their pockets and think they're all that and a bag of chips..Money ain't everything if you think it will buy you popularity and status..the Mona Lisa is worth millions, but she still looks sad..

break if you need one, but don't leave us. There's a whole lot of people
here that respect you, your opinions, your writings and your insight.

I am new to this MB and the one thing I like is the diversity. Even though we may not agree with everything that is said on this MB, if you stich it all together you can learn a great deal. This is exactly what the FTRIB would like to see happen. This MB to go away. We all have something to add and the bottom line is that we DO respect everyones opinion. We may not agree with someone but we respect them for what they have to add to this MB. We are all here to learn, educate and make money. We are a brotherhood and sisterhood of military and federal employees that look out for one another. We are here to help strengthen our retirement funds so that we can enjoy our loved ones and friends after we complete our service. And even though I have not meet any of you I consider all of you friends.

Don't go! Yes, you had a spat w/Caymanbrac. It happens. It's over now. Differences of opinion are reality, you of anyone know that, and unfortunately sometimes it goes too far and it gets pretty personal. It's hard for either side to simmer down when it gets that far. Thing is, by letting it get to you so much, you're bailing on your friends too. Please figure out how to let it go and come back with a happy face. We know you can if you so choose. You've found your way back before, and we were glad you did.
