Steadygain's Account Talk

Well we now know her candidate - never mind.

No - actually that's a good point.

My story is againt the entire system and is directed at all parties and the underlying network of how things have going on for ages. I'm simply starting with the Vietnam Vets because I honestly believe that's where we need to start - but I'm about to lay into a bunch of other things. By the time I'm done no one will be left standing. :worried::mad:

Rush.....Ew. The worst of the talking heads.

Birch....I'm "nondenominational" when it comes to politics. I don't agree with any of them, I trust them even less, and I'm seriously thinking of withholding my vote rather than give it to any of them. That's a sad commentary on the state of things because I treasure my right to vote, but I'm not going to help someone I think is fundamentally wrong get elected. The two-party system is broken and it's time for a change (no, not Barack or Hillary, heaven help us!). I'm vainly hoping for a white knight on a dark horse will turn up this summer and be our saviour, but I know it won't happen.

Oh...democratic ticket. Edwards endorsed Obama and released his 18 delegates. IMO the deal is made.

I do greatly admire and respect John McCain, but I disagree with him politically. He's made it plain that he intends to carry out the policies of this administration for another 4 years, and I simply can not vote for that.

Edwards endorsed Obama.

Thanks for pointing that out !!

Who else endorses Obama??

ECONOMY - Over 200 of the world's economic leaders including Nobel Prize winners solidly endorce OBAMA

MILITARY - Generals, Admirals, and numerous Military Experts solidly back OBAMA

Does he have a REAL PLAN or is he all talk??

OBAMA has a very solid plan for the future and he is in to make changes - changes this country desperately needs.

SO I AM PUTTING A MAGIC SPELL UPON THIS THREAD

VOTE OBAMA - VOTE OBAMA - VOTE OBAMA

Rush.....Ew. The worst of the talking heads.
Since you luv2read...I suggest you get and read (with open mind and not with prejudice) his two books "The way it aught to be" and "I Told you so"

If you can't find them, I will send you my two Autographed copies to read.

I'm still trying to digest a recent book I came across entitled: How to Talk to a Liberal. The damn thing just doesn't make any good sense so I may simply be wasting my time - just best to ignore them.

Birch - I think Regan was the last time I voted for a President because I really liked what he represented and was behind him.

EVERYONE ELSE - is what I see as the lesser of the evils; it's not that I'm really behind the one I vote for - it's way more doing what I can to keep the other one out.

With that in mind - I think we're long overdue for a real change and Clinton is the most "political" representative I could imagine. I don't want your 100% POLITICIAN - because that means 100% BS. Yet I'm very open to a WOMAN being president - mainly due to their wiring.

Buster, Birch....No thank you to both. I prefer to make my own decisions rather than have someone tell me what I should be thinking. I actually used to enjoy Rush but he's gone too far over the line too many times. Same with Hannity. They should both listen to themselves with an open mind. They'd be surprised what they find out about how they come across to the mainstream. They mock "sheeple" but the rabid conservatives are the worst sheeple in this country, blindly believing everything the BA spins and telling everyone else to think it and do it and calling them unpatriotic if they don't. Last time I checked this was still a free country but we are giving up more of our liberties every day in the name of "security", and TBH I don't see that we're any more secure than we were 8 years ago. If anything, we're less secure.

Steady,

I agree change is needed, but I don't think either Obama or Hillary is the right person to bring it about. He's not seasoned enough and she's too angry and has too much baggage. I'm aware of all of the endorsements for Obama but I mentioned Edwards because I think the deal has been cut for him to be veep on the ticket.

Wow I got a patient and need to run.

Listen everyone on Post #985

Take the biggest puff you can - and hold it in as long as you can.

That's what I remember as the most important rule.
