Steadygain's Account Talk

I agree change is needed. Obama is the right person to bring it about. He's seasoned enough and has all of the endorsements.

above quote slightly modified - but what the hell it's my thread

Luv2read - Thanks that is well put.

Change is needed - Omama is right for the job.

He's seasoned with tons of endorsements; so it's not like it's just "our opinion" - I mean the ones who really know what they're talking about are solidly behind him.

Cheers everyone - and a great weekend to all. ;)

Obama is seasoned?
I think like New Wine, good but needs to age longer to be the good stuff. Better than his Beer Buddy HC but, there seems to be a fly in the bottle. :sick:IMHOView attachment 3890

On the Political Stuff - I think we are ALL RIGHT and as much as that sounds like a politically correct statement I absolutely swear to everyone I do not mean it that way. My opinion is no better than yours (nor yours mine).

IMHO - to be in the Political Realm - largely means you are part of the very process that I despise. I believe Hillary represents the ultimate in doing what ever a Politican would do or say to get elected and that she probably most accurately reflects what everyone of them is really like - it just shows more in her - but she is a mirror image of the rest.

No matter who gets in - anytime they say or do anything - you'll hear the other side rant and rave and the United States will likely continue to go down the tubes. Many fundamental changes need to be made - on many levels - and NO ONE PERSON will be able to do it if their primary objective is to remain popular.

Be glad it's not me - because most of the free hand outs would end; I would go after everyone (starting with the politicians) and make it real clear THE MORE YOU HAVE THE MORE I'M TAKING and we are no longer going to force the future generations to wallow in endless pain and debt because we refuse accept responsibility. My message across the board is we are all in this together and each of us will do our share - or do without.

The only reason I lean towards Obama is because he seems the most willing to make changes. EDWARDS was my main pick because he stressed how he would go after the Corporations, Industries, and Institutions seeped in CORRUPTION - and if anyone is really honestly willing to do that THEY HAVE MY VOTE.

IT'S BEEN A GOOD WEEK EVERYONE

SO I AM PUTTING A MAGIC SPELL UPON THIS THREAD

No...what I actually said...and Steady edited (it's his thread, like he says)....was:
I agree change is needed, but I don't think either Obama or Hillary is the right person to bring it about. He's not seasoned enough and she's too angry and has too much baggage. I'm aware of all of the endorsements for Obama but I mentioned Edwards because I think the deal has been cut for him to be veep on the ticket.

Google change. It means many things to many people. Politics are depressing. It's Friday...and I think we've hijacked Steady's thread enough on this issue. Chill.

Percentage of stocks above 50-day moving averages. S&P 500 - 77%, Financials - 70%, Industrials - 86%, Energy - 89%, Materials - 79%, Utilities - 87%. Doesn't look like no stinking bear market to me.
