My sweet adorable BLUE ;)

You couldn't have timed that any better --- as I was just shutting things down. :)

That's pretty cool -- playing chess and smoking a 'bowl' were 2 of my favorite things.

Thanks for the visit :toung: -- hope all is well !!

Well good night all !!

So put that in your pipe and smoke it. Now I think we've even.
Just commenting...incase you're tired and didn't get the connection.

I am thinking of hanging a picture in your G&TP.

Thanks for the song btw. It was the perfect choice because it reminded me of holidays from long ago.

Night,
Blue :)

Thanks sweets ~~ cause I have to admit it really threw me for a loop

I'm like there's no way -- this ties in with the Hendrix story

You're welcome ! :D and of course it was the perfect choice -- ummm mmm mmm ~ whoa sugar you just don't know.

Well you might want to think twice about that honey pie cause the G&TP can be a mighty dangerous place ~ especially for women ~ and all the more 'Women with class and style' ~ that are witty and fun ~ that seem to jive. :toung:

Cause you know what they say - every picture tells a 'Story'.

Night -- my dear friend,

I am done and heading home

Steady: Are you aware that there is a new Hendrix CD out? I understand it has alot of unreleased stuff of his along with some remakes. I believe the title is "Neptunes Valley" if I recall correclty.

Long Live Rock and Roll!!

Long Live Rock and Roll!!

I know it -- only because of this Site !! :D

Only because I have every other record Jimi made -- along with some DVDs and a few books ~~ did I think I had it all.

So when Blue (I call her Blue now ;)) said something about it the other day 'Neptunes Valley' didn't stand out as something NEW because the name flows so perfectly with so many other songs and the expression itself is to 'Totally Jimi'.

The station I listen to -- has never played it -- so I'll get the CD on the way home this evening.

ANYWAY -- a million thanks - in the event I did not know.

And you're right -- we sure can't count on the Politicians

But Rock n' Roll will live on as long as I have breath and life.

My boyfriends back and your gonna be sorry - if you don't get off the dime. You know the song.

That's one I most definately know ...

Charlie Brown, Yachiety Yack, Stroolin', The Shaddow Knows, Big John, --

-- that period of time surpassed the others ...

Birch, you can only profit from winning Markets by being invested.

Well on the Economy

Last night they showed a lot of different companies making new highs ~~ and I mean since at least 2001 ~~ or NEW

Volume was also hugely noted -- and that sounds great.

Job Losses appear to finally be leveling out -- and reversing.

This may actually be 'The Beginning' of something very good !!

Will keep a foot in for now --- and add more over time.

GL all

Hmmm trying to 'feel out' the TSP forecast....

I believe the more people go to G Fund .... the Higher the Markets will rise and the more Record Highs will be sustained.

Therefore I will probably begin moving more into High Risk in the hopes of everyone thinking a TOP is forming that won't be broken.

http://money.cnn.com/2010/04/05/markets/markets_newyork/index.htm

The Dow Jones industrial average added 46 points, or 0.4%, to close at 10,973.55.
Earlier, the Dow rose to within 11 points of 11,000, a key psychological level. The Dow last closed above 11,000 on Sept. 26, 2008, ending at 11,143.13.
Hey all, I'll leave you with this. Don't be 'spooked' by it being a 'key psychological level' as some could then believe if we would happen to have a brief consolidation. Oh my gosh -- it's all over. It is KEY only in that a move above it -- which we can certainly expect tomorrow -- will likely spur a fairly good RISE.
If anyone is following me -- NOW is the time to go to G Fund -- as I see the Markets doing VERY WELL -- and plan on putting even more in than originally planned.

Good night all !!!

Hi Medic72 -- hope all is well.

I'm having to come up with a different game plan from what I thought I'd do when I first got here.

1. I was use to 'unlimited trades' so the playing field is totally different.

2. There are trillions of guys and gals that sound a lot smarter than me and too often I buckle to their 'fear' or 'expectations'.

On my own I'm seeing numerous companies making HIGHS way beyond 3/09 --and that is largely stressed -- I mean they are saying RECORD HIGHS or HIGHS that haven't been seen in years. I'm seeing this in a wide variety of Sectors. In addition the Major Players are getting Stronger and it's way more than simply a USA thing.

JPMorgan -- for instance is strongly pushing towards the $ 3 Trillion goal for this year.

Most of the Major Players are INTERNATIONAL and ----- 'we' don't see what's happening at simply the US Level.

On the Whole -- Playing my own Game -- Looking at the Underlying Companies -- Looking Specifically at the Money at Play --- Looking at the current Mergers/Acquistions -- and seeing the Hugest Projects Ever for the Companies that are the Driving Force of ALL BUSINESS ~~ Especially Government -- I am moving more to High Risk TODAY.

From my perspective:
The VIX can be too easily manipulated for me to bother with
Charts themselves -- mean nothing
Even 'historical trends' for specific months mean little --- in light of the current period of time where we are now.

GL -- to all

From 80% G/ 20% S

To 50% G/30% S/ 20% C

Small Cap start ups are largely under the control of Women (not Men) and I have no doubt they will more than prove themselves.

The Short Plays are fading --- I'm planning for the LONG RUN -- will continue putting more in High Risk down the line.

Hmmm .... it feels like many need a little encouragement

Well I put half of the Jack Pot in High Risk and am very excited about the future potiential.

When we hit the 10,000 Mark the same thing happened folks ~~ so chill and enjoy !!!

The dirt is getting packed ~~ so the Rockets can fly higher up and keep on going.

Be IN to WIN --

OK -gotta run

Hey Steady!

Perhaps you already know but, incase you don't...

Jimi's "Valleys of Neptune" topped Elvis's "2nd To None" in the Billboard 200.

So...almost 40 years ago he's still going strong!

Enjoy!!

Bluehenge :)

This is where it started.

Blue woke me up and said, 'Jimi's music lives on and in fact he has a new CD out with a lot of new stuff'.

Well I was half asleep and it didn't sink in

Steady, I think I remember you being a fan ... did you notice Hendrix is #4 on the Billboard 200? He breaks Elvis' record for being dead the longest when an album of his made the top of the charts.

Valleys of Neptune follows his passing by 40 years.

So then this cat tells me 'Hey man Hendrix is back and breaking new records with his new album'.

I'm waking -- but still this is huge -- too huge to believe

WHAT !!!! OMG !!!

So I get it that night and am thoroughly blown away. Was absolutely beautiful and I'm on a 'high' that seemed to have no end.

NOW for the Best Part :D

I got Stevie Ray Vaughan's ~~ The Essential Stevie Ray Vaughan and Double Trouble last night.

Had largely ignored him throughout my life because his sound was so incredibly identical to Jimi -- so I put him aside --

NOW -- It's exactly like I'm hearing more and more of Jimi in ways I'd never heard him before. So this is like the Ultimate High for me.

Take some of My Vibes -- and enjoy

Gotta love SRV! He was highly influenced by Jimmie and played with great emotion. Now, you need to check out Eric Johnson. Talk about Tone, OMG..

Awesome.....

Thank you !!! The pleasure is mine

Gotta love SRV!

He was highly influenced by Jimmie and played with great emotion. ..

It's absolutely amazing how everything works out so beautifully.

BLUE comes on board, from out of nowhere, and takes me back in Jimi's World ~~ like it's totally brand new. So I'm listening to stuff I hadn't heard before and really caught up in the moment ...

Now listening to SRV (who I purposely avoided forever and ever) is the most incredible experience ever. It's like Jimi on another level but still ~ perfectly in synch with him. He even plays a lot of Jimi's stuff.

No way am I trashing my world with the other guy. One man's garbage is another man's treasure :D

The very first time I even tried to play an electric guitar ~ some guy turned the Amp up so the 'feedback' drowned out everything. It was really strange and it was very irritating so I stopped ~~ and he instantly turned down the Amp. So I tried again and he immediately has the feedback drowning out my notes.

It was his Amp and Guitar and he's looking at me -- like 'Well go ahead and play'.

So I got kinda of mad and said 'I can't -- it's impossible to play when he's making the Amp do that stuff'.

He said, "It's called feedback" and that it's not impossible and that in fact there is ONE Guitarist who not only is able to use feedback but he can't get enough of it'.

I challenging asked him who it was.

He told me Jimi Hendrix ~~ the first time I ever heard his name. He stressed he was the only guitarist that not only welcomed and used 'feedback' but could play beyond all the others.

So Eric is okay - and I think Cliffs of Dover is amazing -- but for now I'm like on a Spiritual Diet and have to stick with the game plan.

Thanks for the visit -- good to see ya.
