Pyriel Account Talk

imported post

Ladies and Gents,

Trying to keep up with updating the trackers but I am currently renovating my house. My family and I might be moving out for a week or two and will let chaos reign in my humble abode. My contractors said that it will take 3-4 weeks and I am only in week 1.

Having said this, I would like to apologize in advance if I am a bit late in sending out the trackers. I might not be able to send them on time until they finish the renovation. Please rest assure that I will be sending out the October monthly report and will have Fundsurfer verify them.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenient this may have caused you...

PS... Grandma, if anyone complaint, go ahead and send your cat blazing away...:P

Went in yesterday to update my real estate blog and account allocation of posters. Didn't have much time to see the rest of the threads. I guess I missed alot.

I decided not to send the trackers for this week. I'll wait till COB Monday before I send it so that I can update the monthly return as well.

After many months of being in the positive monthly returns, mine will be in the negative territory for this month. Taught me another lesson that i will be looking out for yearly...

Seems like we have lots of new members. I would like to welcome you all for joining us here. I hope that you find some of our information here useful.

For those oldtimers, I guess we can all pat ourselves in the back for helping one another make this year a success. Sorry, but success for me is gaining 10% per year which is what I projected until I turn 60. The first few months of 2005 were kind of rough but we persevered, learned, and hopefully willreap our benefits. Let's continue helping one another forwe are stronger as a group rather than being an individual. I've been going in and out of here for a couple of months since i've been busyand I really like what I am seeing. Thanks to everyone...

I would like to wish everyoneHappy Holidays and I hope that we as a TSP group will have many more to come. Thanks to Tom for bringing up this site and allowing us to congregate. I know that its not alwayseasy for him.

I do feel kind of sad for those who left the site due because they feel attacked, rejected, and/or bashed. We are an eclectic bunch and will always have differences in opinions. We just need to adjust and focus more on learning from others and growing our TSP account. After all, we come here because we want to have a better future and take control of our retirement fund.

Thank you all........

Pyriel

Cheers to you Pyriel!

We dont need to have the same beliefs, only the same national pride! (and a similar goal of making a few cents on the dollar). Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas, Merry Xhristmas, Happy Yule, and every other holy day near years end! Cheers!

I plan on jumping in to G before EOY. I will be gong 100g before cob Friday, 30 Dec 05. Good luck to all.. I'm a little curious on how many will be jumping out of stocks on Thursday instead of Friday just for precautionary measure. TSP has been having glitches lately...

Just like you Birch.....you kamkazi!!!

Hey Py.....you're appreciated....as well as Tom, I like what I see, everyone has a different opinion here and it doesn't have to be personal....as a matter of fact its rather instructional as well as entertaining....at least we all get to see different viewpoints and get to investigate them and see them for what they may be....

Everyone here has really been helpful in one way or the other.....lets really have a Happy New Year......I ready....and Happy New Year to Reverend Shark....

:dude:The Technician, or is it Carnac the Magnificient, or I still go by Dancing With Wolves (DWW)......o'well one of the three will be here this coming year.....

I will be going 100g before 1200 est Friday 30 Dec 05.

I still have the battle scar from last year where I had to start the year with almost negative 5%. I don't want to be too greedy and will wait a couple of days to decide whether to jump back in.

However, I am liking the fact of not moving around too much and making only one or two moves every month or two. Except for those strong seasonality days, I plan on hanging out on a certain funds for awhile...

Good luck all and thanks for helping one another in making us more money.

I think that there is enough fear out there of a repeat from last year which is what is driving the market down. I am one of them that moved to the safety of the g fund. I think others will follow and the market will have a repeat pullback from last year. A pull back is expected as others are saying but the question is when. I'm going to have a wait and see approach then get back in... I hope that I don't have to wait that long...;-)

Do you guys know I am celebratingNew Year one day ahead of you all!!!!

Going to roll with 100i. Have multiple tdys coming up and in the process of buying another rental house. My plan to start a business should be in placed by the end of the year. I need 80k in cash out of pocket to start it and i got about half of that now stashed somewhere else. With my new job, plate is full but what else is new?

Good entry point for stocks but this trading range will see some fluctuations up and down... I'm going to start moving the rest of my 60g soon. Question is where? If I fund slides down some more, then I will most likely be sending them that way... My strategy for this year is to stay in the i fund and to trade in and out on those turbulent months. This month is one of them...

Back in Action

Hello everyone... Just got back yesterday and i've been trying to catch up with all the reading that I missed since 12 Feb. Currently analyzing people's moves from the trackers that Milk's been sending out (Milk, great job btw). I am also fascinated on Rokid's assessment and comparability studies.
I'm waiting for a buying opportunity to send my remaining 20% in the G fund. I'll also be doing an update on that rental house i've been trying to close. I would like to thank everyone's contribution to this site...

It's great to see that you're back, Pyriel.

Always appreciate reading your posts.
Thank you...

Looking for volunteers for trackers. Plan is to break down the tracker worksheets into 15 each per tracker. I'll consolidate them and send them out on a weekly basis... Please pm me if you are interested... Thank you...

Pyriel

Thanks Milkie for keeping up with the tracker.

I'm out of stox as of today but it seems like the train is not stopping at the station. Oh well... I think i'll wait then try to jump back in. Hope that correction will happen soon or i'll be crying my eyes out....;-) P

Been in Malaysia for 3 days now and I have to admit that this place is pretty nice. Had a hard time getting into the internet but I finally got that resolved.

Been reading people's posts and I have to admit that majority of what I've read do not poster good relationship. I remember coming here a little over a year ago and people are providing information and helping one another. I missed that, especially amongst old friends. For those who are new, please continue to learn and ignore other post that distracts our common goal.

Please don't get me wrong, there are alot of valuable informations that can be learned here. It is just that they are being overshadowed by disagreements and miscommunication.

Sorry for being so melodramatic;-) Missed you guys and gals...

You know Pyriel, it's not like I'm enjoying argueing with that fool. But the alternative is to allow him to continue to post whatever nonsense he wants, and then claim that everyone is an idiot for not listening to him.

Personally, I feel like he is ruining the community here. One that I have been a part longer than just about everyone here other than Tom. Tom doesn't agree so he gets to stay but I can't see just letting him post misrepresentation after misrepresentation without being challenged

Welcome back,

Dave
