Have not made a move for awhile and i am itching to get back in... When is that dip going to happen...

Pyriel,

A nice advantage of knowing others that invest is the healthy banter that is socially acceptable. Like when the Technician admonishes me for being optimistic - and down right contrarian. Pyriel - read my lips - the dip ain't a comin - at least not anytime soon. And if one does develope it will be shallow and quick - this market may be in the process of preempting the last Fed rate hike. Money is already moving out of the Treasury market and into stocks. Energy is developing into the new leadership which is what I thought would happen two years ago - planned for this time period. You can test your anxiety levels and see how much you can take. It won't be manfested in pain like loosing money - but you'll recognize the stress knowing how much you may be leaving on that darn kitchen table. Profits that could have been - you cam always get on at higher levels - nothing wrong in being cautious. But please get the hard working wife out of the G fund and into the C fund for the duration. Give her the chance to retire before you do or can.

Hahahha you are so funny Birch... Which is why I like you... Going 75g10c15s before 1200 est Wednesday, 7/6/05. If the dip is really big, you'll probably see me go 40c60s. We'll see... I just have to stay up till 2:00 am again (1200 est at your side)to see if it is going to drop or not... This is what i get for living in a paradise.

Had drill this weekend then we went straight to Annual training. I was trying to go in between my free time and finally got it done now. I'm sending it out now after this post. My annual training will end Friday then I have to start prepping to go to Hawaii for a month (what a boring place). For those receiving the weekly tracker, sorry for being late this week...

Pyriel,

I have a 2lt daughter that is stationed in Hawaii with the 25th Infantry Division. She says she never wants to leave. I believe she may have or is in the process of discovering love in paradise. I'll have to make the trip with the wife eventually.

I'm glad she loves it there and I am sure that you will feel the same... It is a great place indeed. Just don't be on the road between 0700-0830 hours and 1600-1830 hours.

Detractors? Show em to me, I'll take care of em. :P

Actually Birch is the only "analyst" that has backed his statements up this year. Of course, no one was backing him up yesterday. :P

Birch is really a breath of fresh air with the perma-bear guys that are here. Of course, they don't post much anymore. Unless of course they have someone to bash.

That's why I'm here. :^

Oops sorry, apparently Teknobuks is the one doing the best. Congrats to you too sir. Keep up the good work. Now one of you please give me some help in winning this challenge I have. I'd hate to leave you all with greggy and sugarandspice. "She" sounds a little like MT huh?

DMA even.....

Nevermind.......LOL

That is what you are planning to do with your extra time starting 01/16/2006, eh?

I'm beginning to like this long term hold... I wonder how long can we sustain this uptrend. It would be nice to get out later, preserve the profit one more time, then buy low and stay there till the end of the year (at least that is my plan). Hmmm... When will that be? Majority is still bullish and milking this uptrend so I think I will ride along. However, once I start seeing Tekno, Dakota, Showme, Skip, TSPGO, and tennisguy going to G fund, i think that will be my calling as well (before I go back 100 stox and stay there for the rest of the year)... I wanted to add Birch into the list but he is too bullish and will most likely never move:^ P

Pyriel,

You are correct - no reason to move until DJIA of 13,000 or sp500 of 1700. I'll let dollar cost averaging do my walking for the immediate future. Have you ever ridden a bull market before - it's very nerve wracking - like being a bronco buster. Try your pistols and see how accurate you can shoot. You will become acquainted with the head fake and whip lash. Good luck.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I understand that there is a baby typhoon moving along New Orleans. Some of you are probably wondering whether your IFTs are going to be accepted or not. For the purpose of tracking, what you typed in for your allocation move is the one I will track.Good luck to all..

Pyriel

PS... Living in a tiny pacific island, thousands of miles away from the US mainland taught us one thing and that is to make all of our houses in bricks and hollow blocks (filled with cements). We also made sure that we use cement for our roof instead those flimsy rooftops used in the mainland. I wonder why south east states never learned their lesson.

Pyriel,

I notice you are now dollar cost averaging on the way up - isn't that just too easy?

Actually it is the smart way to gain ground - lock in gains behind you and keep adding to your current positions. Basically the same with allocation contributions - much easier than pulling out the pistols and blazing your way to the top. Good luck.
