Playing the I fund

Since OSM are up so much today, is anyone planning on taking some profits or letting it ride for another day? CPI is looming....

I jumped in today....can anyone tell me if I will make money or did I miss this uptick in the OSMarket? It seems like every time I try to time my jump, I get screwed in my actual TSP interfund transfer....:suspicious:

Remo, this might make you feel more comfortable. Locked and loaded. :D

I actually went the other direction and went 100% "G"...thought there might be widespread profit-taking overseas overnight. Maybe I could sit out the decline and still get my "G" penny...

If you placed your IFT before 12 EST, you will buy in at the prices quoted at the end of the day, and your IFT will be in effect for tomorrow trading session.

Best of luck

We're definitly overbought. Sometimes it can stay that way for a while. One positve for the I fund is that its not up 12 of the last 13 days like US indexes. This is 2 in a row. I fund has some catching up to do IMHO. I did take a little off the table, though.

Since OSM are down (Luckily so is the dollar) if the CPI is OK it could be a good buying opportunity.
Pound is hitting that $2 resistance, and Euro is nearing resistance, that won't help in the future.

I'm thinking the dollar will come back some tomorrow. But, will the OSM go up again. US earning are in focus now and they seem to be doing well.

Looks like the EFA is near the top of its trend at about 80. If we stay down today it may be time to get back in.. or wait another day or so?

Japan down following Europe. OSM are also worried about weak dollar. Its good for US companies though. I wonder if foreign contries will buy dollars to help their economies.
