Playing the I fund

EFA TA showing no points of resistance until its upper bollinger line. Room in the slow stoch to go north of 80%/overbought. Hate to chase but it still looks ripe with some juice to squeeze.

A picture is worth a thousand words.......

OS Markets LOOKIN' GOOD this morning!!!!:D

So good, it's booo scarey!:D

The Nik is at a nine month high.

Will it break through???

OR

Is it time to "ring the register"???

decisions...

Might have to play the contrarian with a lot of TSP'ers pouring into (I).;)

It looks like for us who moved in here yesterday and those already in it was a good move. I managed to avoid the "no-brainer" comment but I did feel it was one. I think I saw it somewhere but not in here(maybe in Griffins talk thread). I don't think 350z used it either, however I don't know if he thought it was one. Would it have mattered if someone would have posted it has a "no-brainer" move to the I fund to anyone who reads this thread?

I did not think it was a "no brainer" untill much closer to the deadline. By that time time, it was obviously too late.

I still have no ide why the dollar spiked up. It might very well reverse tomorrow, but the VIX is telling me a pullback might come tomorrow and I didn't think it was worth the risk to play the dollar. I thought about playing the F fund because yields are due to fall, especially with housing numbers tomorrow, but I have no luck in the F fund so I'm avoiding it like the plague.

WOW! You better check yourself. That is exactly what I thought as well. You and I are thinking in the same realm. That could/should be cause for concern on your part......... Are you hearing the voice/s yet?

This could be another danger sign for you but just clarify. When I made the comment to you about "Are you ready to call it yet?" I was referring to calling it a no-brainer and not calling a share price.

Yes, I knew exactly what you meant. And no, I'm not hearing voices, yet. The only think I hear now and then is the loud nagging from my wife. ie, "Why are you always on the computer?", "Why are you starring at the stock market?", " And when are you gonna finish the kitchen?....blahblahbalah:D"

the VIX nearing 10 flat was of concern to me too, I put some in F thinking it is just above a tested support line and if it falls it won't fall much at all tomorrow and AGG looks as good as anything right now from a TA p.o.v

Two Q's on the dollar index:

1) is the NYBOT DX the best one ticker to use in conjuction with the I fund/EAFE?

2) since the NYBOT website doesn't have free detailed technicals on the DX (only a history from 1967 thru 2000), has anyone complied a more recent history and up to date info of opening and closing prices, with daily highs and lows? If so, the Excel experts on this board can create candlesticks, chart tech analysis, stochs, etc on that data. Giving us I fund traders better indication on the quick movements of the dollar.
