Playing the I fund

... Ok, thanks for the clarification and feedback. didn't mean to have a negative tone if it came across like that. I feel like the I fund has been whiping me like the gimp in pulp fiction -- and I need things spelled out.

The USM doesn't look like a short term bull run to me - it's bigger and longer than that. Could be a quick 1,000 points to the up side.

With Europe and the U.S. markets rallying today, does anyone have a feel for whether or not there will be a +FV declared today?

"Normally" OSM or dollar action that happens before noon does not have an effect on FV's. That is because no matter how volatile that action is, if it happens before noon, it is already included in the day's MSCI EAFE quote and therefore no adjustment would have to be made for that volatility. I say normally because as I have preached many times before here, Barclays doesn't always need a trigger to apply FV. Or it isn't always one of our more obvious triggers.

So to answer your question, I "feel" like we might get an FV soon since we haven't gotten one in quite a few days, but nothing in today's action would "indicate" that we are going to get one today but that doesn't mean it won'tcome today. Put more simply..........I don't know.

350, how much did the explosion of the dollar negatively impact this estimate? The only reason I ask is because the dollar index spiked, and I'm gauging the weight and influence this is having on the current I price.

I'm showing the dollar up .241%. It would have been up more if it had not been for the BOE. We'll know for sure once MSCI post their numbers. Today is tricky because MSCI made a change.
