Playing the I fund

I'm showing the dollar up .241%. It would have been up more if it had not been for the BOE. We'll know for sure once MSCI post their numbers. Today is tricky because MSCI made a change.

You have posted twice about MSCI making a change. Care to share?

I understand. In case you missed the edit on my last post...I'll repeat

I too appreciate all your hard work
Have a nice day

Ferdinand says let justice prevail. Anyone buying the I find COB today should be expected to pay a wee more with a +FV. It makes the whipsaw more memorable. Snorff.

Birch,

Enough with the BS! You are full of it and everybody here knows it.

Are you jealous that some of us were lucky to miss the drop and are now buying low? You need to wake up. DCA is not a strategy. It's a way of saying I don't what I'm doing and I'm scared so I'll just leave it up to faith.

Please leave the I fund thread.

He HAS to make comments like this. It's very predictable when a mass movement occurs. He inevitably will brachiate his way in to make his in depth analysis just to try and rattle cages. He has a need for attention and if you have noticied he hasn't been getting any lately at least not from the people he wants it from. Just let the baby shake his rattle. Your not his mother so you don't have to give him his bottle.

Z man,

Faith is not fate and fate is not faith. You are just too sensitive and impatient - get some avodart. Or perhaps I should say irascible.

We still have a few more hours left to see if an FV may or may not come into play. How can we guess the FV possibility when we don't know what will change after 12pm, which is what causes FV's.

I look at where the USM is at 1130 est. relative to the I fund and the dollar. If there's a big difference between the USM and the I fund, I'll give it a higher probability of a FV. I also look at the dollar for a change in direction and size of change.

Today for example, with the USM up roughly 1%, there's little chance for the Dow to move up to 140+ or the Nas to move up another 15-20, thus less chance for a +FV. Although, it has happen, especially on Fed days. But the possibility for the USM to sell-off in the afternoon, resulting in a -FV, is much greater. Having said all that, it's all just a guess. Albeit, an eduMacated guess.:)

350, I knew there was a reason I liked you. Let's just hope Rex doesn't lay his double egg again in his passer rating. That dude will put me in an early grave. This is the I fund thread so i'll keep it relevent, LEEEEEEESSSS BEARSSSSSS.

I'm afraid Rex is going to make the game much harder than it should be. Seattle is not that good of a team but neither was Miami.:D

Oh no....Oil is dropping big again today. It appears to have fallen thru support. This might not be good for the internationals. We might have gotten suckered in....:(

Oil prices below $52 will be good for most international companies and the funds that own them. You are right in that the I fund may suffer some forward performance but other international funds will do well.
