Playing the I fund

Anyone know what has the Nikkei up in a twist? FTSE is down a half a percent as well. Euro is up, yen is down. Such a mixed market feeling this morning. Any forecasts to see if the I-Fund has hit it's ceiling or is there still a ways to go? I got burned the last time, don't want to go down that same road!:embarrest:

A weaker dollar vs. yen causes JP exporters to make less profit. So, some of you saw was from JP exporters falling. Most of the downdraft is from the possibility of the Democrats taking the Senate as well as the House, which is not the most business friendly configuration.

To avoid getting burned, consider setting a sell point and stick to it. My current sell point for the I fund is $20/share. If the I fund breaks below that, I don't see a strong finale for 2006.

Interesting loss on the I, I have it down 8 cents quarter till deadline....-14 to -16 cents just earlier on........I have noticed some inconsistencies in their rate calculations in the recent past.....I wonder if they chose the rate they want to benefit Barclays.....it would be an opportunity for them to "benefit" from fluctuations such as these.....

Thinking it's more that the EFA doesn't track the I fund prefectly. Though tomorrow should be a big up day if the market continues to advance. Monday and Tuesday were the same way. I thought this past Monday should have been a bigger gain.

I've gotten that feeling to on some days but I don't think they do it to benefit Barclays.

CommTech what time do you use for your cut-off? 12 or 1pm?

I use 12 pm est., but as Tech just point out, it might vary from day to day. I don't really know the exact time.
