Playing the I fund

Dollar dropping like a rock also. :D I might actually have to say I like the I fund a little bit if it is nice today. Just a little bit though......................

I don't think so. Market didn't change much after 12 est. Dollar only fell a little. But I'm crossing my fingers hoping we don't.:)

I thought the dollar was down enough after 12pm to generate a FV. I was wrong. Still learning.

On a different note....

Has anyone found a better index then the EFA to more accurately follow the I fund? The EFA was way off the I return yesterday. I know we discussed this problem a few weeks ago.

My guess is it's just a reversal from Friday's over reaction of the bogus government job numbers. I don't think the reports on the home builders had much of an impact because they already knew the housing market is crashing.

I had the same thought until the dollar kept going right through Friday's support level.

If the dollar continues to drop after 9 Eastern today and the the market continues to climb steadily there could be a heavy plus side FV. It all depends on what you think tomorrow will bring because if that occurs then they will more than likely take it back tomorrow. I'm thinking the election could bring enough uncertainty to trigger things. I'm contemplating a steal attempt but will wait until closer to deadline to see what the rest of the morning brings.

I think the dollar has found it's bottom for today and it appears the UK is struggling dispite a big rally in the US. Japan might have a good night tonight but the dollar might rebound. I'm thinking about jumping off this train.

All of this could work in the opposite direction as well which would result in taking it away today and giving it back tomorrow.

Personally I don't think that Japan has the market influence it use to.

I don't think 9am has anything to do with an FV. It's more what happens after 1pm. Futhermore when any FV "reverses" really depends on market conditions the next trading day.

Right now I see no FV today.
