Playing the I fund

I would like to say that the effort put into calculating the return on the I fund before the deadline is truly masterful and extremely beneficial. It really needs to be showcased somewhere for the masses to benefit from. Thanks to Gilligan, fabijo, Fivetears, ebbnflow, Fundsurfer and all others who participate in the process. This thread is the best one in my opinion.

Dollar index -.25 at 15:50 EDT, also having a little end of the day rally. There may be some FV this afternoon?:D

You are too humble. Don't forget to mention yourself also as a leading contributor here. I do agree with both of you (whoever posted this here, Sugar or Spice) that this is the best thread within the MB that actually provides real on time data before the deadline.

Tech and Gilligan,
The last time you two had an estimate of .08 and .10 cents we ended up with a .02 cents return;-) Or was it .02 and .10 and we ended up with an .08 cents return. Its one of those two;-)

Maaaaaaaaaaaan I tell y'all; I ain't got any game cypherin' the I fund daily drama what-so-ever. It's completely outta my edjamakashun.

Robo,

I'll be up all night reading your literature - thanks again by the way. I still don't think the market is ready to look back yet. Even more short-sellers are piling on - that's just more fuel added to the heat.

The trend is up my friend. You called it correctly so enjoy the sweet smells of the manure. Bob stated earlier this year in his Market Timer newsletter that the Bears would be in big trouble this year. He recommended buying the S&P under 1250 and now we are headed to 1400. I'm looking forward to reading his next newsletter. For those that have stayed the course, ENJOY THE RIDE!!!

Bought USO @ around 52.00 from a recommendation from Market Clues and made some money the last couple of days. Putting tight stops so I don't lose my profits the next couple of days. Oil could rally a couple more days so I'll let it run if the trend remains up. This is a Short-Term trade on oil!

Lost plenty shorting the QQQQ's this year. Waiting for another chance to short, but I will have fairly tight stops.

I just made a comment about the dollar in the bull pen before I read the elliot wave thing. Not that I can get my mind around it at the moment.

Impressive looking though, especially when you look at the second chart and the last few days - even more so, since it was put together a week ago.

Elliott Wave and the Darn Dollar! Up, down, up, down and then maybe way down. We need to follow the waves~~~~~~~! Griffin, are we headed to 88?

Today is tempting me again with an FV play. It didn't quite pan out like I had hoped yesterday. But has for today it would be a play to get the give back tomorrow if indeed an fv is applied. If the market tanks big this afternoon I think there will be an FV. It looks to me like it will be a downer today but how big remains to be seen. I also have to realize that if tomorrow is down big then it won't matter. Will lose anyway just not as much.

Filling in for the G-man who's doing the graveyard thing again. My estimate of the I-fund for right now is up 0.45%. The trend is down for the OSM (overseas markets) and down for the dollar (which is positive for the I-fund). Both of these trends look like they will begin to bounce in the other direction. I don't see a big dive in the cards myself but the day is yet young.

I-fund estimate UP 0.45% as of 11:15.

The dollar has been dropping all week, down big today, and is now well below its 50 day MA. I can't get my arms around the various forces moving it, other than the usual long term trends discussed so much here already. Anybody got a feel for the likelyhood of a strong bounce tomorrow?
