Playing the I fund

The dollar has been dropping all week, down big today, and is now well below its 50 day MA. I can't get my arms around the various forces moving it, other than the usual long term trends discussed so much here already. Anybody got a feel for the likelyhood of a strong bounce tomorrow?

I think the dollar is dropping because data is suggesting US economy is slowing despite the market and thus likelyhood of Fed to continue pause or possibly drop rates has increased. This is being priced into the dollar.

I would like to say that the effort put into calculating the return on the I fund before the deadline is truly masterful and extremely beneficial. It really needs to be showcased somewhere for the masses to benefit from. Thanks to Gilligan, fabijo, Fivetears, ebbnflow, Fundsurfer and all others who participate in the process. This thread is the best one in my opinion.

Thanks for including me in that list, but my estimates are usually after our noon deadline.

She meant for her comment to be addressed to all members who add to the I fund mystery. Not just estimating it. All input about the I fund.

Careful about thanking a psuedo/psycho that spends a majority of her time in the bathroom not going.

Thanks mlk_man,

Do you or anybody else expect 10 +FV?

I don't expect it, but personally would love to see it. It owes me at least that much this year anyway.

Actually, it might happen since the EFA took off at noon again and the dollar dropped at noon. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm...........:D

Since the dollar dropped right at noon, it is difficult to tell how much of the drop they priced in. I think a +FV might come based on the US markets going sharply up. I'd love to see it since I moved 40% from I to S but of course that guaranteed that there will be NO +FV today...
