i dunno nnuut...thats what the etf (EFA) closed at..kinda???..I'm getting -.19% (-.13 cents)at prophet charts???, -.31% (-.21 cents) at stockcharts, -31%(-.21 cents) at bigcharts.
I think our free ride at MSCI might be over unless one becomes a paying client
The figure of -0.31% must be the local currency, I had figured it be -0.271% this morning. If they figured the dollar to be -0.50% that would put the USD at +0.19% (-0.31% + 0.50% = +0.19%) X $20.05 = 4 cents to $20.09

EXACTLY! You're both right on the money!:D

Forget that theory, I just saw Sugars edit. The Local Currency is -0.38%

Good job, Gilligan. No matter what, when you calculated a gain for the I fund, it made me feel at ease the rest of the day. :D

Gilligan,

I find them (ball park projections) useful, as managing my account is not only an effort to gain profit, but has now become an avocation... your projections along with your comments and insight regarding the I fund add to my process.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Ebb, sometimes I wonder if my ballpark estimates help anyone.

The FV discussion is invaluable in assisting me when I make the trades. You always want to know what side of a FV you’re on. Thanks.

They help a lot! That double edge sword of the I-Fund can really hurt.

I hope you don't mind, but I move your "My Best Trade" article the Pychology of Trading forum.
http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?t=3220

I really enjoyed it and I didn't want it to get buried here. It is perfect for that psychology forum and hopefully we get a good discussion going over there.

Thanks!
Tom
I believe you did the right thing with ebbnflow's article, so that otherts might benefit from that experience. By the way, today is August 22, 2006. Will this be a date to remember going forward? Anyone have any ideas what to do with the investments now that it was reporeted that IRAN has attacked and held on to a Romanian oil rig? Is this the response that IRAN has to offer the United Nations regarding their enrichment of uranium, the development of nuclear technology for "peaceful purposes", and living in relative peace with the rest of the community of nations?

Can you provide a link to this?

Thank you.:D

The FV is hard to guess. Sometimes I am way off. The other day when I was 9 cents off, I forgot to divide one of the figures in my formula.

Thanks for that link CB. Here is one from Bloomberg.
