nasa1974's Account Talk

I cant load /see the tracker are you hangin tough NASA? I am still about 90% in stocks holding for a rally but getting prepared to pull a little more out if this down action continues. Yeah the profits got erased and I howled like most of us last week but in reality I havent lost that much. would be worse to miss a big rally like I DID not long ago.

Thanks FAB1, hanging in there. Moving the wrong way in the tracker but I have my sticky pants on. Staying 50/50 C and S.

Cool...I have some in G, my cont alloc. goes in there and with no IFT couldnt move if I wanted to. Looks like some upside action this morning. though I cant figure why I fund is double perf. of domestic when all its indices are Down? but Dollar is down too isnt it?

I don't get it. But right now I'm not even going to try. Closing my eyes and thinking happy thoughts....UMMMM!!! UMMM!!!

Ground control to major Tom
Ground control to major Tom
Take your protein pills and put your helmet on
(Ten) Ground control (Nine) to major Tom (Eight)
(Seven, six) Commencing countdown (Five), engines on (Four)
(Three, two) Check ignition (One) and may gods (Blastoff) love be with you

This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade
And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

This is major Tom to ground control, I'm stepping through the door
And I'm floating in a most peculiar way
And the stars look very different today
Here am I floatin' 'round my tin can far above the world
Planet Earth is blue and there's nothing I can do

Though I'm past one hundred thousand miles, I'm feeling very still
And I think my spaceship knows which way to go
Tell my wife I love her very much, she knows
Ground control to major Tom, your circuits dead, there's something wrong
Can you hear me, major Tom?
Can you hear me, major Tom?
Can you hear me, major Tom?
Can you...
Here am I sitting in my tin can far above the Moon
Planet Earth is blue and there's nothing I can do

The C and S fund really made a run in the last half hour. What a strange week. At least I recovered 25% of my losses from yesterday. Get back a little at a time and I will be happy.

Will be on and off all weekend. Work and honey-do list. Have a great weekend everyone.

I know that we have been having some issues with the speed of the MB but I kind of miss the area that shows what members are online.

Is it possible that some of the issues we are having with the MB and the speed could have anything to do with all the threads that are open? There are 621 threads dating back to 1969. Page 11 has 2009 and 2008 threads. If these threads where archived would it help? Just a thought.

165 more posts and I will be at 2000. If I do 2 a day that will be 83 days. That's almost 3 months. DANG!!! Of course I do not have enough intelligent things to say to post 10 or more a day. 3 months it is. :D

I should get the latest on my <1% vs. "buy & hold" spreadsheet posted tomorrow. Going to be a short week, leaving Wednesday for a short vacation with the wife. Hoping to get in some golf. Not sure how much time I will have to find a computer to stay in touch. Later all, I going to get another beer. Good night.

Here are the results from my spreadsheet. The S fund took a real hit last week. The I fund has lost the most over the last few weeks falling below $90,000.00. As you can see 4 out of the 8 funds are below the starting $100,000.00. The S fund is still ahead of G fund but barely. The F fund has jumped out as the current leading fund.
