Don't get me wrong the 1% plus in the "S" fund is nice especially after yesterday. But the 2% plus would have been a whole lot nicer. What will tomorrow be? Friday's have closed 15 green and 12 red. Good luck all.
 
Well, a good day and another green Friday for the "S" fund. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
My weekend will be great, just called in and I don't have to report for jury duty Monday. Will find out Monday night about Tuesday.

Except for those nasty three days in a row (17th, 18th & 19th) I would say the "S" fund did pretty good for July. No clue what August will bring but let's hope for a good start and a green Friday.
 
European markets were already selling off today and accelerated their losses into their close overlapping with this morning's price drop in the U.S market.

Europe's markets were reacting to a rate cut by the Bank of England.

EFA (I-fund) was leading the sell-off in the early trading before the DWCPF (S-fund) took over with deeper losses as the day dragged on. The DWPCF opened higher then sold off this morning. EFA opened down to start with.

Could this be a precursor for the U.S. market's reaction when the FOMC finally cuts rates in September? Sell the news.
 
I hope we can recover some of our losses this week. My sticky pants failed, I soiled my depends and I was holding onto the safety bar so hard I bent it. Sure, don't want another ride like that anytime soon. I hope this isn't a repeat of late 2021.
 
Talk about the first 3 days of August being a s**t show. This morning I looked and the "S" fund was below -5% and as of now it is around -2%. Not sure what the next 31/2 hours will bring, but it isn't good.
 
Going to be an uncomfortable night. Tornado warnings went out around 3:30pm. Lots of trees down and houses damage. I'm good but had to haul out my small generator. Good enough to watch tv or use the computer. Family members doing good no power but no damage. Refrigerator plugged in keeping everything cold and frozen. Especially the beer. :banana:
