nasa1974's Account Talk

I really don't have anything to say that is enlightening. Except someone has to post in the last 24 hours. There I did it.

What the heck happened in the "S" fund? At closing a spike straight up to zero and then straight down to minus 0.97%.

Hopefully we have a pattern for the week. Monday closed green, Tuesday closed red, Wednesday closed green & Thursday closed red. I know I know anything can happen.

Happy thoughts happy thoughts. Besides tomorrow starts the weekend.

A good finish for the week. A good finish for the month. Another green Friday. And a very small positive finish in the "S" fund.

Hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend.
It's the unofficial start to Fall and it sure feels like it here on the North Coast.

This being a short week because of Labor Day is only the second week the "C" & "S" funds have been red for the whole week. The last one was the week of April 15th. The "I" fund has not had a week that was all red. The "S" fund has not had a week that was all green. The "C" & "I" funds have. The "I" fund almost had two full weeks in the green except for Monday, August 5th. But it did run 10 days in a row 8/6 to 8/19 that was green.
Try to have a good weekend everyone.

I went to get an MRI at a local hospital and when I got there little clusters of people were gathered around TV sets in lobby/waiting areas and I remember wondering what was going on.
It was 9/11/2001. :unitedstates:
Yet another date that will live in infamy.

I was in a construction project meeting when someone poked their head into the room and said a plane flew into one of the towers in New York. I wonder to myself how could a small plane do that. After the meeting I found out what was really happening.

I recall that morning and whole day... and dwelling on that i'm reminded how much some things have changed since then, particularly regarding security protocols for airlines, airports, and federal facilities. Prayers out for the survivors & all families really impacted.

Well, we didn't recover all of last week's losses but a good week none the less. And another green Friday. That's 21 green to 14 red.
Hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend.

Yesterday looked like it was going to be a great day then it wasn't. Today however, wow. Fingers crossed for another green Friday. There have been 21 out of a possible 35 already.
