Good Morning.....
I'll have a Dark Roast Caramel Macchiato, 2 Espresso Shots, and a Raging Speedhorn to go please.........
There, that should do it. Gotta get the blood pumpin........

Thursday saw The Eagles in Austin. Fantastic show -- 50 years on the air! They did full Hotel California, took a break and then came back to do favorites. Concert ran 3 hours. I think this is one of the best concerts I have ever seen. They were recording it! (in the brand new Moody center.. holds around 15k). I must say Joe Walsh was so awesome! What a master guitarist he is! They also did songs from their solo careers, or when with other bands. So they played Rocky Mountain Way and Boys of Summer, etc. Vince Gill covered many of Glenn Frey's songs and did a good job.

My favorite of the evening.. Clip from earlier this year...

Enjoyed Walsh playing talk box too... This had nice graphics on back screen...playing with fire!

ohhh Annie, The Eagles are making a pit stop in my neck of the woods, I've seem them in concert wow! can't even count how many concerts. I'm sure you enjoyed watching your favorite Eagle, Timothy Schmit as I recall. Boy, ticket prices are astronomical sort of speak. So to speak?? expensive but worth it. Glad you enjoyed the concert. Boy no Glenn Frey RIP.
These are the original Eagles members, Bernie Leadon, Don Henley, Glenn Frey, Randy Meisner, my favorite line up. Awesome. Here's an oldie from their first album.

I do like an old school, story tellin vid. Dug this one up. I can relate to playin near empty clubs and ending bad relationships. "Your not the one for me, no . . . . . " The ending's great .....
Produced by Fred Durst (limp bizkit), the vid's pretty good for when it was released. The band however had a great start, but the singer screwed it all up by being a drunk idiot.

......or how about some new "old school" aggrotech ? This genre is more German Club music than anything else. Crazy stuff from this genre.
I believe Aggrotech is short for Aggressive Techno.
:dunno:

Epic, I'm dialing it down a bit. I am too relaxed right now. lol... :cheesy:

I wanted to see Peter Frampton again just a few years ago but didn't get the chance. But will never get that chance as he is only doing a few more concerts in Europe in November. You all probably heard he has a muscular debilitating disease similar to ALS.

Gosh, I love him! Here is a short set for those of you who love acoustic guitar. My favorite song is Baby I love Your Way, the third song in this set. I have decided it is one of my all time favorites and I am going to sing it the next time I go to karaoke for my birthday this weekend! ....Shadows grow so long before my eyes... And their moving across the page...suddenly the day turns into night ...............the whole song is just filled with love and beautiful lyrics! Plus I love that you can see the joy he gets from playing. In an interview with Howard Stern he talks about how he wrote the song.

Whoaaa TSPRoulette, you do have a great memory! I definitely adore Timothy Schmidt, his long hair and hearing him sing "I Can't Tell You Why". Gosh he makes me melt: Lol... I am crazy about him! He sang it and I was in heaven!

Your right about ticket prices. Ouch! The Eagles were very expensive. But hearing my favorites is just something I enjoy and Pandemic was tough. So far this year, I've done two concerts and was fortunate to see Gladys knight here in Austin! I have two more that I already bought tickets for: Scorpions in Sept in San Antonio and Elton John in October. I did think hard about going to London to see Peter Frampton, but I am going to hope he sustains longer and feels he is well enough to play more. He loves music too much to not play, and if he can I think he will. I saw him in his prime many moons ago. I am praying for him and many others who are ill. Very sad.

I just finished watching the Hanna series on Amazon Prime. Set in Europe. They had some nice Techno music. Here is one that I like the feel of. Lots of good music in this series.

20 years ago . . . . still holds up, so not gonna put this in the "Oldies" thread.
Have a great 4th everybody
:usa2::usa2::usa2:, even in this wacked out world we seem to be in at the moment.

Cabin Fever (2009) was an innovative recording session where "Before The Frost... Until The Freeze" was recorded over a series of five nights at Levon Helm Studios.
The sessions were filmed in front of an intimate live audience and allows the viewer into the recording studio with the band.
