Cool song, but I actually had to look up the original and I wasn't really familiar with it.

Thanks! Keep'em coming.

So over in the Oldies but Goodies thread I posted a cover song (Money / The Beatles) done by The Flying Lizards (go check it out).
NASA 1974 liked it soooo much 🤪, that I thought I'd put some interesting ones up here, maybe once a week or so. I'll try and post ones that are well done and different, as to not be too boring.
Years ago, a new artist Lorde put out a song called Royals. It was huge and put her on the map.
Sooo many others did covers of that song, but this one I like the most, and I always remembered it.
Just search Lorde Royals if you can't remember the Original. I didn't want this to be a comparison, so you need to look it up yourself.

The Cover (by Leo Moracchioli / he does everything)
He does a little promo jingle at the end. (just skip it. lol)

Interesting video. Not into that kind of music. Too old I guess.

Hey....should I include the originals you think??? I was gonna, but I didnt want it to be like a contest of which one is better.
I may have to on a couple of these. I have a John Denver cover, an Adam Ant cover, and a few other obscure ones that might need the originals posted just for reference. I guess it couldn't hurt.
For anyone wondering, here's the Original Lorde Royals:

Any John Denver fans out there??? Who says you can't heavy up a Folk Song?
Not really that heavy and not really a Folk Song, but it IS a John Denver song.
I always liked this cover by these guys. BoyHitsCar is probably more famous for the singer doing a 68 foot stage dive from the P.A. up in the rafters.
It's a long story, but there's a video out there if you look for it. BoyHitsCar is this sort of Nu-Metal / Bohemian / Surfer-dude kinda band.
I only know them cause of the stage dive which made that guy a Legend. For sure.
Anyway, this is a great (my opinion, check the comments) cover of John Denver / The eagle and the hawk.
(sorry / nothing to watch. It's just the song)

Here's a couple covers from the ladies.
I like this one cause it goes from Rock/Grunge to Country. Collective Soul Shine covered by Dolly.

.....and this one just cause I like JJ. From Rock to Rock. AC/DC Dirty Deeds covered by JJ.
(Someone should have really vacuumed that stage beforehand. Look at all that dust. 🤣)

🤘🤘

The stage special effect was different. JJ's one bird salute was interesting.

Nahhhh..... it's not what you think. She's holding the guitar pick with her index finger and thumb, so she points with the middle finger instead.
Like when you play a bar chord with your left hand on the neck using your index and ring finger, and your middle finger has nothing to do, so it just hangs out there looking like your flipping someone off, but that's not the case at all..... It does kinda look that way though 😆
