Hello, this is Birchtree's conscious. Sorry, but it seems I've gotten myself in a bit of a sticky wicket. Keep cheering on the market, and I'll be back soon to lend a hand.
That is all.
Is Birchtree in permanent timeout?
AAPL is now trading near 620.
"This runaway freight train is gathering a tremendous head of steam. When mom and pop begin reading their newspapers and see that the markets are going gangbusters, then even more money will come into the markets to chase prices higher. Better get on board now, or get left behind. Snort." ~ anonymous :toung:
Hot stock tip alert:
Got the "Chuck Hughes Microcap Report" in the mail the other day. Here's what it said...
"New all-natural zero-calorie Stevia sweetener now approved for use worldwide, and sales are skyrocketing! Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Kraft, Nestle... they're all on board! My advice: Get in now; this is huge! I belileve that budding U.S. grower Stevia First Inc (STVF) could pay 12 to 1 this year, sending $2,500 to over $30,000!"
Ok, so yesterday STVF was up over 27%. Bought some shares this morning at the open at $2.06. It's now trading at $2.57, up another 32% today. Thought you might want to take a look.
Good luck!
Since I am nearly fully invested in the market, I didn't have much gunpowder left. I bought a few hundred shares. Thinking of lightenining up on T triple Q and buying a few hundred more of STVF, if the price is right.
This is a high risk, high reward play. You may want to consider only investing an amount that wouldn't give you a heart attack if it imploded. Remember to keep your trailing stops in place, too.
Good luck!
Thank you for your input. What do you base your stop on? Like if you buy something at $2.00 where would you normally place a stop to sell?
Sorry for all of the questions, but I appreciate it!
For a volatile stock, I would sell if it dropped more than ~15%. It might make you a very unhappy camper if you saw to see it drop 50% or more while you're still holding it.
Based on the report I read, there is a lot of upside to this one.We shall see, won't we?
Good luck!
