MrJohnRoss' Account Talk

Reversal day has finally come. Sold my remaining TNA this morning at 56.435 for a net 13% gain.

Bought some TZA at 16.66. Looking for a short term pullback, and not expecting to hold this for very long.

Good luck everyone!

ehh, mine never gives it to me with my CAC card. HD is cheaper slightly.... lowes is nicer.... all the back and forth to DC gets me amtrak points which turns into lowes gift cards.

At first they were doing in on all CAC cards (goverment discount). Then they went to active military and retired military even at the movies. Used to us my retired CAC card until they started to check. My VA card works.

Two stocks worth mentioning today:

AAPL is absolutely screaming to the upside today. All the news is touting that it's the biggest stock of all time now...

Also, AGQ (3X upside Silver ETF) is just starting a major uptrend. I hope you've climbed on board.

I don't know if it was you I was talking to about LOW 6 months or so ago, but I stated then this stock wouldn't move much. I held LOW for 6 years never made a dime outside of dividends. This stock has been in the same two dollar price range for a decade, I finally dumped them last December and bought PEIX which promptly dropped 75% afterwards now I wish I kept LOW and didn't lose or make money. Oh well life goes on, won't be my first mistake.

Looking at the last couple of years, LOW has climbed pretty nicely since last August, but has fallen on hard times. Bought it in May when it fell down to the 25-26 range, thinking it would come roaring back. It just hasn't happened.

If you compare it to HD, it's way behind the curve. I think it will eventually climb back up into the $30 range, but I'd rather deploy my money on something with a higher probability of a better return.

Sold my small position in TZA at 16.13 this morning for a 3.2% loss. Looks like the market wants to go higher for at least a little while longer. Although my model would have me in cash, I purchased a small position of TQQQ at 60.46, in case the market continues into this strength, which I think it will. If the market gets over-extended, I'll look to sell my TQQQ, and go short with TZA.
