JTH's Account Talk

Not much to report, scanning the markets we are in the "sit on your hands" zone where I find nothing worth buying. If you're in you're in, if you're out, the risk/reward scenarios aren't very appealing.

Off the October bottom the S&P 500 has been consistently outperforming the Wilshire 4500. Over the last 14 days, this Wednesday was the first time the Wilshire 4500 outperformed the S&P 500.

Keep an eye on CSCO. It's going to gap lower in a big way and won't be far from my $21 entry point this morning.

CH. I'm watch it also. IYO what is a good entry point or support level?

Jason, I hope you don't mind my posting a chart in your thread.

I think there is good support in the $20 area. But it could find support at a higher level given how few bargains are to be had in this market. The stock is in an intermediate term downtrend, but as price falls risk/reward goes up. I plan to buy some shares this morning. Just a starter position of 100 shares. I can add more shares in the days/weeks ahead if price continues to fall. I am looking at this as a longer term play.

I sold a fair amount of CSCO at $23.36 back in May for a 36% gain. I've been waiting for a gap fill to buy back in. Looks like we're getting one. For now, I've scheduled an automatic purchase of $500 on Tuesday. Chump change for yous guys, but a gamble in my book.

Now that I have more time to explain: I'm trying to calculate risk. I want to see if your midchannel line lines up with the 20 day or if there's risk to the 50 day. We I get bullish, I get worried.
