Here we go again.

Some pretty good volume this morning. Hopefully they are selling Fridays profits and the afternoon crowd will buy into the lower numbers.
I can't even see the 200's on the horizon. Congrats. I hope to see the mid 300's by year end. Get me back to zero on the Tracker.:suspicious:

Lost 1.6% (don't remeber the exact number from last night) yeterday. System is still up 9.9% since October 7.

since you started your system how has your accuracey been with your moves. i like when people on this board put a date out for their system to buy or sell but not to many people do. i do not read charts can not really understand them but others will put a number referring to for example the S&P hits 1250 i am out or they say i am in. i have not followed your track record but i read your input and it is interesting especially when you put what it has done since a certain time. one question how do you determine a buy date? i use the seasonality and share prices to determine when i THINK i should go in. it is all a guess i know but..... and today was one of two dates i was thinking about the other is the 15th ..... just trying to get back to positive for the year. thanks

Backtested to about 70% accuracy. I get a sell or buy signal at the end of the day, so the signal is good for the next day. I use share prices and the VIX to calculate a number to determine whether to buy or sell. It is a trending model.

this is how dumb i am on somethings what does VIX stand for? is it something to do with the the volatility or the volume or niether. i see these kind of things on here all the time and do not understand the such as SPX IMO NYMO etc.... so they mean nothing if i dont know what they mean. thanks for helping me with this.

In short, it is a ticker symbol that measures the implied volatility of the S&P 500. Go to Wikipedia or Google it and you can read all you want about it.

TSP is down right now. Here's what they popsted on their banner this morning (when I tried to log in -- 6:18 am PST):

"SCHEDULED OUTAGE
Due to system upgrades, the My Account section of the TSP website will not be available Tuesday, December 13 between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Eastern time. We regret the inconvenience."

They usually do upgrades on the weekend, So they are really trying to fix the problem they had yesterday, but hiding it so all of the folks that lost money can't demand remediation.:suspicious:

System is still on a BUY for 12/14/11, even though it is now down to 8.05% since October buy signal.

Just checked my account and my money is still there so I guess TSP IT guys must know what they are doing.

System has dropped to 6.53% since October 7 buy signal. Still not bad, but it was double this amount a few weeks ago. Ssytem is still on a buy.
