Jkenjohnson's Account Talk

and that helps my OCD today, how? groan

I would track what his system does since I think your OCD chart is built upon systems, not people's personal opinions. Otherwise you can put my personal opinion on there and see how far that gets us hahahaha. :embarrest:

Just let us know the night you calculate it... vice the next morning at 1030 ;)

I thought I was...

Well you seemed to express frustration since he said his system went one way and he may go another as if you didn't know what to put down for his system on your OCD Chart. Maybe I misunderstood...?

Wasn't that so much as he said he had calculated a sell last night (http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/members-account-talk/10065-jkenjohnsons-account-talk-49.html#post361388), but we didn't hear about it until 10:52am. It didn't change my OCD calculation this time, but it could has he has a 12% impact (all or nothing) on the OCD...

No biggie, just trying to give him a hard time, but he wasn't around to enjoy.

I'm giving you my system signal. I could not post until yesterday morning as I did not have access until after 10 am.
Hope we go up from here. I need to make some money.

System is 7.40% YTD. Still on a buy.

Interesting, but for TSP investors I believe your system is out of IFT's, therefore it should be stuck in the lily pad for the rest of the month. Which might not be a bad thing:) You had a buy on May 1, (first IFT) and a sell on May 8 (2nd IFT).

Did Tom give you a tracker name for your strategy so we can track its returns with our limited IFT's and see how it will perform in TSP land?

Thanks for catching that. Since I did not follow my own system (only my TSP is on the Autotracker) it is difficult to keep up with the returns of both accounts. I guess I need to set up a spreadsheet (yuk). Please let me know if you see any more mistakes in the future. System is 7.45% YTD - corrected back to the sell on May 8.

Tom did but he could not go back to January 1st, so it is just easier to post it in my thread. Also, I was having trouble accessing two different Autotracker Ift'S.

Did you factor in today's loss? I thought you had a 7.40% gain going into today's action?

That is because his system is in the Garage and out of IFTs for the month as Kaufmanrider pointed out on 5/12. He had a buy on May 1, (first IFT) and a sell on May 8 (2nd IFT). So even though his system is on a buy, it can't buy back in until June 1st. Who said limited IFTs were bad for our financial future? It is working out pretty good for anyone that is following Ken's system!
