There is nothing wrong with being a loyal buy and holder. Have you crossed over - your allocations look good and you are doing the DCA thing, is it working to your satisfaction? I do have one question though, are peaches better when they are chilled?

Peaches,

If you are worried about recession you really only have one of two choices. You can hide in the G fund and wait it out or you can enter the C fund for some protection and do DCA at 100% and build a position. The weak dollar will be an asset for large cap exports. But you already knew all this. There is only going to be a soft landing - C fund is the place. Snort.

You forgot to mention the F fund. As far as a soft landing, that might happen but it's rare.

Or the L funds, GG. I'm trying L income out as an alternative to hiding in G. So far no big gains but no big losses either. To win big money I guess you have to risk big money. Of course, you have pretty well this year with the strategy you use.

A cat climbed up somewhere in the attic/rafters/cubbyhole and had a litter of kittens. I have deduced this because about a week and a half ago I heard a cat crying from under the house.....I opened the crawl space door (which the repairman had only just shut tight a few days earlier) and out ran the cat. My husband put the door back on tight.

A few days later we started smelling this horrible smell. My husband has been blaming me for the Decon I put in the cubbyhole. The smell has gotten worse and worse, and now gradually has subsided only a little....it is horrible. My husband has been telling everyone that a rat died in the wall. I didn't think so....I've had that happen before in this house, and the odor was not the same nor as long-lasting. It's like a family of something died.

Okay, tonight, I hear that same stray cat outside in the back crying her heart out.

Yep......there is a family of dead kittens in my house.

I'm starting to feel very lonely here in the I fund. Glad your still holding 70%. I'm still at 100%. So far it's been a very good month. If the I fund is down tomorrow I may start pulling some profits off the table. However, I will not go below 50% exposure! Please don't follow me, my TSP is my "play" money, so to speak.
