:(I'yam Cryin all the time, Cryin' all the time, Cry-a-i-ing all the time! Till Johnny comes back, to me!

The local Ford dealership consistently sold 85 new units a month last year......now down to 45 per month the last few months......am really worried about the economy!

Georgia Gal,

Your allocations look good, just hold tight. The world is not ending yet-don't be a Johnny Dep cry baby. Ford is actually on the come back trail. Good luck......

:)I just realized, Birch, that you have lots to say! So, you are a Contrarian like Tom. Okay, maybe I am too. But that doesn't stop the queasy feeling from watching things go down, down.

I'll hold tight, and keep my eyes shut so I don't get so dizzy.

GeorgiaGal,

Being a contrarian doesn't come natural. It was never planned this way. The market showed me the way, over many years and many beatings. Pain is my game-but that is how I make money. Buy'em when nobody else does and sell'em when every one else wants to buy. I actually did some of that a few minutes ago. Dennis

GeorgiaGal,

That's it just sit tight and dollar cost average - next week is another week. Greenspan does some talking to the Chinese with open questions - maybe he'll let something slip - like we are done for awhile.

Jobs were soft today - 176k when averaged - not bad at all. The household numbers however were great - at 325,000 new jobs. I think the primary trendfor this bull remains intact - you will make more money - you probably are doing just fine.

Keep the pistols holstered for now - MHO.

Hollering, "Hey Tex I got something in my headlights over here!" "Cowboy there is no headlights on a horse!" "Well the account sure has been froze stiff since 5/5/05." "Hey, Cowboy that reminds me of that joke about coffins & condoms." "No, your not tellin that joke!"

I hope you enjoyed some nice gains there GAWGA! This is wishing your account stays Peachy!:D

Thanx, GAWGA, I'm sending this on to my Texas son-in-lawwho does BBQ catering as a side-line. They probably wouldn't care if it was from Georgia, tho, he has family there, too!!!

;)Grams, your son-in-law prolly makes his own! The secret in this one, in addition to the usual tomato sauce, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, spices, etc., is the apple jelly and cinnamon.

Do you move according to market information, i.e., Economic indicators or by what last year's July market did or by what you read someone else saying to do on this Web Page. For the last 3 weeks I've been 70S and 30C. Forget the I fund for awhile. The S Fund is catching and passing it."

Hi, well no, I have no system. I actually think I was probably better off just buying and holding like I used to.

Just trying to do a little damage control. You can see from my account page that I was already 80G and 20I, and today merely went to 90G and 10I. My reason, just trying to lock in a little profit I made on the 10I that I bought for 15.08

Do I wish I had stayed with C and S like I was until June....you bet! But right now, I don't really want to buy back in at a high price.....so I'll just take my medicine.

Thanks

Peaches,

That C fund will only cost more as time rolls on - once we get the sp500 through that 1229 level the next stop will be 1254 or above. The current $13.22 price is relatively cheap in reference to your potential gains. Face your fears and come on board.

Peaches,

Gee peeto, if you have an IRS firewall, that can only mean one thing. I'm sorry, really sorry.sorry many times over- I'll never say another mean word about my friends at the revenue department. It's probably to late to get any size piece of the S fund, but the wall flower C fund is waiting.

:)But what if I buy back in and it GOES DOWN! Shouldn't I wait for it to go down to buy back in?

Thanks
