Fantastic.

"Good news is that I truly outdid myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days.
I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever. Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they
almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder and almost
killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was
one of many people who attempted to do that.
My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

That is awesome Grandma..you are my kind of neighbor..

- okay, Buster, now I feel guilty! I had to get up oo bed & come back & do a disclaimer - that isn't my house, nor is it my decorations. My son sent it to me ...... and it isn't his place either !!!
:D Can I still be Your Neighbor?
-I really like your Banner up there !:) - I am going to pocket them for use somewhere..... or other.

Grandma,
Great picture. Talk about gutters that are strong. My luck would be that the gutters would rip out of the roof.

Even though you know it is a set up it is still a great picture. :cheesy:

Grandma,
You are way to modest ~~ and you definately underestimate your influence. ;)

OK - Begin the soft violins in the background:

You see Grandma -- some people just have 'class' and when they walk into a home it becomes transformed. There's probably no better way to explain it.

So with that in mind --- we have the drab and blaaaaah

Until that 'Magic Moment' :toung::nuts:

So once you enter it becomes 'Your House' and it is 'Your Decorations' that bring it to life.

Ahhhh .... now that all of us are on the same page ...

.....let's get a cup of Virginia Wassal

Originally performed by The Drifters in 1960, composed by Doc Pomus and Mort Shuman.

Actually...This Magic Moment" is the title of a song written by lyricist Doc Pomus and pianist Mort Shuman. It is one of their best known hits.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Magic_Moment#cite_note-0 It was first recorded by Ben E. King and The Drifters and it reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1960. It was rendered anew by Jay and the Americans in 1969 and ranked even higher, hitting number 6 in early 1969 and earning gold record status.

Course, some people seem to like to settle for second best...I prefer the best.

Grandma, that is absolutely fabulous & inventive!:D

What??? You did not come up with that one??? ;)

I will keep that in mind one year!
