RE: Investment advice

I know it's a damned if you do, damned if you dont situation, but I don't think we should tell folks to get in / get out.

Regarding Investment "Advice"

Reason being:

[TSP Talk provides a forum for investment and trading discussion, as well as samples of investment research. TSP Talk.com and TSP Talk does not warrant any of the information posted here, nor does such constitute investment advice by our posters or us. We do not endorse any service that advertises on the site, nor any poster who discusses his trades on the site.

Let us repeat: We are NOT your investment advisor. Do NOT take any action based upon what you read at this site without seeking independent confirmation as well as competent professional advice.

In other words, your decisions are your own. If you don't have a signed contractual agreement with US, then what you read here is NOT investment advice to you, no matter what you think it looks like.]

I think this disclaimer is appropriate at this point. We like your posts, but want to make sure that readers understand that the posts are your opinion as a member and do not constitute certified professional financial information.

PS: Not that it makes a hill of beans, cause I gave up on those "P's" a long time ago!..........:D ............Cheers!

yesterday was a good day to get out....and soon it will be an uphill day.....I have been downhill for the last week or so ....this is been due to I have been out of the market being too busy to watch the market of late........

believe sir that you are just a perma bear with a tremendous amount of negativity toward stox.
hope you change your outlook soon, to take place in the large rally that's looming (notice the "looming" word can be used in a positive way)

F fund- after some additional research I firmly believe that it would be foolish to buck this upward trend....it seems that positive returns are the majority of the time in this situation...

C, S, I funds could make a short term move down. I fund went up yesterday while expecting a downward move....not a good way to start...but C and S did as expected....

Let's see. On 7/24 you posted C, S, and I in red, indicating a short term move down. Since then the C is up almost 3% and the S is up over 3%, but you feel it's going as expected.

This is where you lash out and call me pathetic etc...

Actually, I posted they were in red on the 24th, if you got in the day of the 24th, you would have gained .57% and .97% (C,S) on the next day and then 0, -.12% the next.....so I think your 3% is off a bit...its like you spin doctor things....

If you take the data for what it is meant to be, its a projection of what will happen to the market for the next day...seeing you are getting in/out the market that evening, the next days performance is what counts........yeah both C and S gained the next day, but broke even or loss the next....and the 24th wasn't even a consideration....except that it was on a higher level...and today isn't over yet....so you can't count the 24th and today ...

The market is stretched out right now to the top side.....odds are its a bad time to get in at this time, if there is any one time that my accuracy will be off will be when things are stretching up and not correcting on a "normal" daily basis.....so right now, I'm missing a bit on my projections....

Re: Carnac's Crystal Ball Séance???
Alright everyone settle around the table and lets see what the Crystal Ball has in store for us....

Degredation of the markets to continue....looking for the eom 1st week of Aug to check the 1224 -1200 range in the S&P.....other funds degrade as well...as mentioned earlier in the last month or so.....

F fund is climbing but looks to be taken a rest....for the time being....it should climb as it did in 2000 while the CSI funds degrade.....

Now that the markets have closed, I fully expect the C and S funds to have dropped again today....which reinforces what I suggested yesterday with the C and S in Red.....this will undoubtly bring us to about even or worse since the 24th all except the I fund of course.....between it and the F you can expect screwy things to happen like today....2%+ on the I  ...
