i did not know that, though it makes sense because i've always felt someday i'll be smooth and rich, but i'm still working on those parts. plus i have a nice noodle.
 
Hey Burrocrat, What's up? Retirement is good,,,, but the interim pay SUCKS!!! I've been a little busy in my retirement thus far but I've finally gotten the golf ball display built for you. You'll see a picture below. I've completed final sanding and plan to assemble and apply the finish tomorrow. If all goes as planned, I'll have ready for shipment by Thursday,,, Friday at the latest. I hope it meets your approval? I just want to confirm if you wanted me to put the same finish on this as I put on the vape box. Just let me know.

Here is the project I just completed with the bulk of the remaining barn wood. I'm pleased with how this Grill Cart turned out.

Sorry the pictures are oriented wrong. They show up fine on my computer then they get flipped when I post them to the forum.
 
I love items made from old barn wood. Picture frames are one of my faves. Weathered silver, unsanded are perfect for framing black and white photos of outdoor subject matter. nicely done there, kave.
 
oh hell yeah! that is suh frikkin weet! yes, same finish as vape box please, nice! let me know on the bill. i am running a little behind on the social commitments, just ask ravensfan. but i'm good for it, write it down, i give you my word, i speak for that golf ball display case.

i am buried at work in a difficult year for ag loans, folks bet the farm all the time but this year some are done, and i'm the man behind the guy with the fast voice and the gavel, bad deal, it happens. got some budget concerns with new pickup and other purchases, an unhappy kitten who refuses to lay down at my feet and purr, and apparently god is still mad at me about something because the fates and cards just won't come my way. i just keep walking, i'll get there, i know.

how is your old spot doing? under an "acting" with the hire freeze or did they manage to quick fill? cheers brother.

Yes, my old gig is temporarily under "acting". I was glad STC & COC asked for my input on who should fill it under a short term arrangement and long term. Currently, a good friend from a neighboring county is working with my outstanding staff. Hopefully, they'll be able to fill it permanently soon. It's important to me that the next "sheriff" will be a good fit!

I'll send you a pm about the bill. It wasn't as much a detailed project as the vape station.
