At this point it appears the Markets are aware that we're watching them ~~ and they're trying to kill us with boredom.

I'd a thousand times rather it takes a huge dive -- so I could go in for a bounce -- or finally take off ....

.....patience.... if you have a little extra .... that's what I need :cheesy:

Yeah, I've actually done a lot of praying about that over the weekend.


I thought how much better the atmosphere seemed without one particular individual on the MB ~~ at least it's felt that way to me.


THEN -- I thought about so many comments I've made like this and realize I'm probably the most guilty one on the MB to really say 'The Wrong Thing' -- no matter what the real intention may have been.
Here it was huge disappointment with Markets that seemed to go 'no where' --- and I really did not mean it 'Selfishly' BUT only meant I wish it would go one way or the other -- they simply get old when they drag on... But I'm sorry for this expression and so many others I've made -- that were equally wrong.


I wholly believe in sacrificing myself -- for the better of the whole -- and I'm more than willing to do that. For now I believe you'll find my posts will greatly dimish compared to the past and will be more carefully worded.

Aww, Steady....you're a nice guy....don't be too sensitive.....you're a blast to watch and listen to. Folks will get to know ya, and understand.....if not, well, they need not be so sensititve.

This is the post that made me do a lot of reflecting ... because what she expressed is so true. So there's never been the slightest hesitation on my part to simply say whatever ... :worried: ... and it's rare I'd ever thought my input could actually hurt the general MB...

...so Handballer's comment here did not offend me in the least little bit .... seriously ... if anything it simply confirms what I already knew. For now I think I need to be a lot more careful with what I say and that's not a bad thing.... but thanks man -- much appreciated.

OK Steady....maybe I haven't seen all the posts? I wouldn't want to hurt anyone's feelings either. This is really all above my head....I'm really quite simple, I think? Just be nice and enjoy life....that's what I like.

Steady, you're entitled to express your own opinion even if it's wrong (and it usually is ). Just because you want the markets to dive so you can get in on a better price doesn't mean you want others to suffer. What you say or do has little if any effect on these markets.

I'm simply noting the Markets going Up - Down -- was getting old

A huge DIVE would surely led to sustained gains -- but I stressed that 'finally taking off' would be good to

Mainly stating I needed 'Patience'

But -- Handballer's right -- and fortunately it's something I've spent quite a bit of time reflecting on

Wow !! I'm sooo glad you finally made it back.

Was going to send Tom a PM -- to see if you're OK -- gosh I wondered if you were in the hospital :worried: ... or if something happened.

Well I'm sorry you're 'exhausted' -- really -- but at least you're back and alive and all.

Lady, maybe your body and mind are trying to tell you it's time to retire and not push yourself to deal with these intense and thoroughly exhausting situations. Instead you should find some very relaxing music, get the aqua therapy way more often, and think of your real job as 'posting to us'.

See a lot of us are just 'little boys' in grown up bodies -- so you could gently -- in a womanly manner -- confront all kind of members and redirect them - - in ways only a woman can.

Well -- go to sleep -- put your feet up for awhile and sip on some lemonade. Ring the bell -- whenever you want something and that wonderful sweet man will take care of things.

That is SO CUTE! I usually celebrate to honor my Celtic ancestry and this year I'd totally spaced it.

Yes, I'm still here, until the weekend anyway. I'm just mostly lurking, trying to get over the last trip and gear up for the next one. I''m wheels up again on Sunday for two weeks. But this has got to come to a screeching halt and soon. I'm getting pretty much ready to tell my boss I'm done.

I never did explain that, did I. It's just because S Fund has been stronger over the last few weeks and I anticipate that to continue because Small Cap businesses always do better than others when the nation is coming out of a slump.
